A very wide breadth of experience then. I wonder how many of these new jobs were his decision and how many initiated by his previous employer?

I did note that you noted that Dom had posted yesterday, James.

He has, of course, also posted this morning,

11/10 to Tesco. Not only did they get here (although it's a good job I brought the delivery slot forward 4 hours) but the grog situation was fine after all. Top marks to the Met Office, too.

Good notepadage James - really enjoyed the food, beer and genever, although for reasons that escape me I can’t seem to remember a whole of lot of detail around the experience.

When my daughter was a student in Bath she worked in a local pub and said there was a bloke who came in every evening and knocked off 5-6 pints of draught Leffe on the way home. Puts me to shame. Mind you, they're all brought up on scrumpy down there so he probably regarded it as 'session ale'.

I can highly recommend a visit to an out of town Belgian beer retailer warehouse if ever driving through the country. The selection of locally & nationally brewed stuff is quite incredible - all with their bespoke glassware and branding for serving in.

jeffian,

Some of those Belgian ales from that there V&B are cracking, a re-visit is on the cards this weekend.
