PTEC will know WH technology as they developed their online offering in a partnership. They would keep the Hills brand as they have done with Snai. The only value is in the brand.PTEC would focus and expand WH online.Unless the Caesars deal also acquired the U.K. brand name.

Strong today, news coming?...Volatility past Nov 3 election will perk up TradeTech againDone bros made 220m out of their 6pc in Hills, just beating me. As they can't resist a bet and/or investment in the industry be good to uncover their next plan

I wonder whether that puts them in direct GVC competition and they if that would be contractual. The UK wmh brand is worth something and needs reorganizing. I think these 888 and private equity as an outside bet but they would need to tie management down long term. I think it will probably given away cheap in an earnings multiple.

The William Hill brand in the UK is worth owning.

Interesting idea. Snaitech has been very successful notwithstanding Covid. A negative for the UK would seem to be the constant threat of regulation changes and betting restrictions.

Will the WMH acquisition by Caesars have a negative or positive impact on PTEC, who supplies WMH with live casino (one of several suppliers) ??

Problem with WMH up at 310p is that potential buyers would have been looking at them when the share price was below 200p. So a bit of wishful thinking to think there exists a blowout offer yet. Might still come, but up 50% in 3 days or so? I'll bank some of that. I sold all at 295-0300p, but bought a third back this morning at 272p. But most gamblers still on the cheap side. PTEC one of them and even PLUS up 100% or so the past year is not expensive (at all).

Market is looking for assets Remember that PTEC has a seriously activist investor looking to force a PTEC sale Can see it coming soon enough. They could do worse than buying the Hills estate to replicate Italy also. Could really push on from here

Update that a New Deal or No Deal live game has been launched but more likely the persistent seller has run out of steam hopefully

The lower offer for wmh hitting gamblers today’s after they got slightly ahead of themselves on Friday. This one up as tad . Great vale here
