17/5/2017 16:09 | Are you still short on GVC Slippery? Must have cost you an absolute fortune with the recent move up. Do you plan to close it before their next update and capital markets day? Your wrong re GVC on China, Turkey and Brazil yes, but China = epic fail on your part. Maybe you got confused with 888? They have Chinese income. Regardless GVC land the business where its legal and licensed to do so and publicly disclose the fact that they are in these markets. Plus I'd like GVC to be in China, a brand like BWIN with its former Real Madrid exposure would go gangbusters IMO. Regading PTEC if black grey market income is such a big issue to you why are you extolling the virtues of PTEC? They have lots of it. Did you do your homework properly? | brownie69

28/4/2017 18:25 | Sorry to be off topic | timanglin
28/4/2017 18:24 | I respect your bravery slippery, however you are going to have to come up with a better line than 'chinese' income. Firstly I welcome all efforts GVC make with regard to enhancing Chinese income, secondly the Chinese as gamblers make any other nation pale into insignificance. However any evidenced issues about the USA would be welcome and in fact one of the main reasons I originally invested in gvc at about £1.20 a share was that it had never traded in the USA. Your reasonable thoughts appreciated? | timanglin
28/4/2017 17:09 | 28/4/2017 Read this and have a think. It was written by James Montier, a well known behavioural economist: "James Montier wrote: "It never ceases to amaze me that whenever a major corporate declines the short sellers are suddenly painted as financial equivalents of psychopaths. This is madness, rather than examining the exceptionally poor (and sometimes criminal) decisions that the corporate itself took, the short sellers are hauled over the coals." Incidentally BNN qualifies for the James Montier holy trinity of traits that he looked for when shorting a share. | slipperysidewinder
28/4/2017 17:03 | In fact why don't you ask them for a full breakdown of any Chinese income they have received throughout the lifetime of their business existance. I would be interesed to know the full breakdown by territory and relevant taxes paid. | slipperysidewinder
28/4/2017 17:01 | GVC are welcome to discuss their unregulated activities and the reliabilty of their income streams in a court of law with me at any time. I would welcome the full disclosure of their activities to Hedge Fund forensic accountants and so should you. | slipperysidewinder

28/4/2017 16:50 | Then not only are you losing a FORTUNE on fees and losses, but I can tell you that I know for a FACT, that GVC had their legal representatives approach ADVFN for your details, post, transcripts and IP addresses used.Your big mouth is about to get you into a whole pile of serious trouble. | festario
28/4/2017 16:43 | I suppose everything I said about my other shorts is lies also. Funny that all of them have collapsed#!! | slipperysidewinder
28/4/2017 16:42 | Festsrio I didnt get it wrong on seeing machines, bnn, quindell, Nanoco though did I? Go to GVC thread. For your info GVC short still open and just bideing my time. | slipperysidewinder
28/4/2017 16:34 | Slippery, you piece of garbage, are you not shorting this? No ugly rumours about this? You'll have as much luck as you had with the lies you spread about GVC. | festario
28/4/2017 15:47 | yeah, why not. | trentendboy

19/4/2017 08:23 | Hmm.. maybe the market has taken your point UVA | weemonkey
19/4/2017 06:43 | thought. . . weak £ was bad for PTEC results as Much of the cash earned in ££ but counted in Euros. however now the ££ is going back up that should in theory be good for us (??) The same true of cash in UK Bank accounts which will go up as this money is also counted in Euros for accounting purposes. (That said When looked at properly it all comes out in the wash as what matters are financial results in constant currency) Anyway to return to the point I am making when the £££ the market will please itself no doubt | undervaluedassets
11/4/2017 07:25 | This time through resistance at 9.40-9.50? The most under appreciated growth stock in my portfolio. Turnover up by 1200% since 2006 with more growth 'baked in' thanks to recent acquisitions. Yet share price performance by contrast . . .well. . . has not kept pace with events frankly. | undervaluedassets
19/3/2017 21:13 | Nice finsih to the week - hope it continues this week. I can see the £10 soon enough | trentendboy
18/3/2017 02:06 | I would have expected PTEC to have been well above 1000p by now. Sagi's selling keeps downward pressure on the share price for a long time. I'm happy to see him reduce so I have to take the pain that goes with it. | nod
16/3/2017 22:10 | That is not really that big a difference. As the poster said, small percentage. Around 3 percent is really not a lot. Moves that much in a day | trentendboy
16/3/2017 14:46 | Yes of course it's normal and a pretty small discount. E.g.. if share price was 90,then discounted to 87 no one blinks. But 900 to 872. Wow!!! | shaker44
16/3/2017 14:27 | Isn't it normal to buy such a slug in an off market transaction at a discount? If he were to sell the same in chunks or do a placing like he did last year then the price will be knocked down. So I thought this price was pretty good vs market price | nfs |
