£2K is hardly going to impress anyone who calculates how many days of his salary it represents. Mr Postins purchase is a bit more encouraging, but even he has only invested £13.6K. I'm pleased I didn't buy when I looked at these before as the stock seems to lack interest and to be going nowhere.

("Playgolf" or "the Company")

Placing of 10,173,261 New Shares at 9.75 pence per share

Playgolf, the operator and developer of advanced multi-sport facilities in the
UK, announces a Placing of 10,173,261 new Ordinary Shares of 0.2p each
("Ordinary Shares") at 9.75 pence per share to raise approximately £1m. The
placing represents a premium of 30% to the closing middle market share price on
14 December 2007.

Kilmartin Holdings Limited, our joint venture partner in the East Kilbride
Development, is the sole investor in the placing which sees their holding
increase from 8.19% to 20.17% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The proceeds of the placing will be used for working capital purposes.

Commenting on the placing, Michael Mealey, Chairman said:

"Kilmartin took a stake of 8.19% in April of this year at the time of entering
a joint venture with us in our East Kilbride project. We highlighted our shift
to greater emphasis on development at that time and Kilmartin's increased stake
in the company is a reflection of their confidence in the UK sports development
market and in Playgolf. Kilmartin's expertise has already brought significant
benefit to the Company and we are pleased to have strengthened our ties with
such an important partner."

Iain Wotherspoon, Chairman of Kilmartin commented:

"We have been delighted with our new joint venture in Playgolf and see a market
opportunity to expand private sporting facilities into a large market with
strong demand. Playgolf is the ideal vehicle to provide such facilities for the
benefit of local authorities, schools and the general public and we are excited
about the prospects of developing a chain of these facilities around the
country. Playgolf have been a pioneer and market leader in this field and we
see a great opportunity to build on the progress they have made to date."

Application has been made for 10,173,261 shares to be admitted to trading on AIM
and admission is expected to take place on 21 December 2007.

Following the placing, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue will be

Thanks for putting up the graph, currypasty. From the graph it looks like you may be ok as share price has very little resistance till 15-16p, & then 19p is only a little away.

That's good news. Not a golfer myself, I was originally drawn to buying PLG because of the huge % of shares held by major investors and a flurry of the same buying large stakes. Since then, I remember reading (on this thread) only one comment on the facilites, which was not encouraging. Its possible that business is picking up, but until officially recognised perhaps unlikely to move the MM; whereas large buying might. In the absence of both and until there is something concrete to go on, I'm going with my theory.

I've used the Co's facilties at Northwick Park & was suitably impressed & didn't realise till recently that they were run by PlayGolf. I was so impressed that I bought a few shares too !

Wow, a massive indicate (online) 33% spread. Hmmn, are MM worried about being caught out by corporate action, or, is it simply proof of illiquidity?

Playgolf Holdings Plc

("Playgolf" or "the Company")

Joint Venture

Playgolf's wholly owned subsidiary Playgolf Eastkilbride Limited has signed a
joint venture agreement with Scottish property developer Kilmartin to develop
its East Kilbride site. Kilmartin are subscribing for a 50% stake in the
development and Playgolf will receive an initial #2m. The development, which
follows on from the award winning Playgolf Northwick Park, promises to establish
a new level for public sports facilities in the UK.

The joint venture brings together Kilmartin, which has #1.5 billion of projects
in its portfolio, with Playgolf which is at the forefront of a revolution in the
creation and development of public sports projects.

David Piggins, Chief Executive of Playgolf, gave his reaction, 'We expect East
Kilbride to be the first of a number of developments which we will undertake
together. Kilmartin's expertise and land bank give us the resources that we have
lacked to develop more quickly. The paucity of good quality public sports
infrastructure in the UK has become a major issue and the appetite to change
this, particularly within government and local authorities, has never been
stronger. This partnership with one of the UK's fastest growing property
companies gives us the opportunity to ensure that we take full advantage of the
position we have created in this field over the last few years.'

Iain Wotherspoon, Chairman and Chief Executive of Kilmartin, hailed the deal as
'an exciting step for both companies. We have identified the sports/leisure
market as one of the key growth areas in UK property and Playgolf are the
innovators in the field. It has been the cornerstone of our rapid growth to work
in joint ventures with experts in the fields that most interest us. Having HBoS
behind us has allowed us to act as a catalyst for growth for companies with
potential. We intend this to be a major focus for us over the next few years.'
