To be fair Dave I am down more than a few k today, the baby has been thrown out of the bath today. Haven't sold a thing and have picked up a few bits and pieces but looking at my portfolio today is not advised.

Just incase anybody is thinking of nibbling then keep it to 15k or less

A 15k buy is 25.15p, 25k is full 26p offer

It's real panic.

It's a clear case of if you need the money then people are selling at any price but if you are comfortable then you should not even be thinking of selling after a drop like this.

My portfolio hit a all time high on Wednesday but today it's been smashed somewhat but I look back at what I had exactly 2 years ago and think I have some 8-10 times the amount so lets not panic when I'm down a few k a day.

Obviously people like Nico with monster holdings this is painful but I'm sure life is comfortable outside the shares so he will not panic either

First lower low for a while Dave - but its still intra-day and I wonder whether it is just part of the mm game.

Just a view.

mm's are really going for blood with PIP atm

Any sale and the mm's are slashing prices.

25.04-26.5p now, a whopping 8.5p lower on the bid than 3 days ago.

Wonder what would happen on a few buys but today I cannot see anybody buying dips in anything, seems brutal although I am tempted but I might back off

Why would you go to the lengths of signing a partnership, designing a product together, moving into a new premises together only to then try and say thanks but we will get it made by somebody else. Do you not think the "somebody else" will charge a lot of money to make it, and have you not considered how skilled QM systems are for making the new product too, why on earth would you jeopardise that when it clearly works well for both parties.

Moaning about no updates, well it;s March and Pip have brought out their interims in March for as long as I can recall, so it's not long to wait for a update. As always in this game there is zero patience. Perhaps you sold this week, if you are "disappointed" then you must have took advantage of the price hike this week and sold , looks like it hit 33-34p to sell.

For me in a stock I like to see a reason to sell a stock and so far Pip have done nothing to make me do that, it's been excellent news after excellent news hence the price has shot up from 3p to 34p high in 2 years.

The RNS of 1 December stated:
"Ventive and QM Systems have formed a relationship under which QM Systems will provide New Product Introduction (NPI) services to Ventive to ensure the product is designed to be robust, easy to manufacture and easy to service and support in the field. Ventive and QM Systems will work together to source components to be utilised in the product. This first phase is due for completion by mid 2022 and then under a non-binding heads of terms agreement QM Systems has been selected for the second phase as Ventive's partner of choice to manufacture the products for the UK market. The culmination of this work will provide a first of its kind in new technology and will be built in the UK."
I would have thought that, if the Ventive product takes off, they will ultimately want to do the manufacturing themselves rather than hand half the profits to PIP for the indefinite future. Sadly therefore I have some doubt whether we can look at the Ventive production line as a long-term prospect - more of a launch pad over the next year or two. Alternative views welcome!

Also, the RNS of 13 January announcing the new QM premises stated:
"The Ventive Manufacturing Business Unit will initially occupy approximately 9,000 sq.ft. and approximately 10,000 sq.ft. has been earmarked for [a] further contract manufacturing opportunity which is at an advanced stage of negotiations."
We are 7 weeks down the road from there. Is anyone else, other than me, a little disappointed to have heard nothing further?

Does not take much in this market, if there's no buyers out there the mm's will slash prices on far less than normal. Looks like 1 or 2 really hit the panic button.
I see 30k was the delayed sale.

Just remember they might RNS this new product launch with Ventive any time and also interims are due too and I still believe they will be very nice compared with the previous 20 years of losses or a tiny profit.

I cannot knock anybody getting cash in because of the war in the Ukraine. But I would be selling my dogs not my winners get my drift.

27.06-28.75p

I did not see anybody selling this low but then again in this market today I have seen some real distressed selling.

2 days ago people were paying 34-35p and now sales at 28p

Results could arrive any day now

Funny how they did not delay that 25k sale at 29.45p

Bet if it was a buy it would get the hour delay treatment

Bloody hell

29.25-31.85p spread mm's are in total control here, if you sold now then it started moving up next you'd have to pay 4-5p higher to get back in.

2.6p spread, mind you we are in the 30's, there was times it had similar spreads when it issue contract news back in the 5p days
