So 110k pbt, that would be 220k annualised. Tax at 20% for c. 180k pat. So with a market cap of 4.5mil that's a PE of 25.

And that's in a boom period. The boom has presumably now ended. Which makes it incredibly expensive here, no?

PIP is balance sheet insolvent to the tune of £3 million. H1 PBT was 100k. So at that rate, after such a "wonderful" performance it'll take 15 years to no longer be b/s insolvent.

That's hardly deramping is it?

The profitability was absolutely pathetic vs the monstrous pile of debt. You bullish mugs won't see a return in your lifetimes would be my guess. Only the odd spike can help. Hardly likely anytime soon!

Gosh, a super RNS, and no spike. Still, it has held up far better than most shares.

I asked Pipehawk to explain the anomaly that you spotted. The October RNS was written in the expectation that the Penso order would be signed, but in the event it was delayed until after the RNS. The October RNS should have read "the first three and a half months to date have seen a further order intake of £1.7 million". The statement in the rns on 11 December is correct in saying "orders (taken) since 1 July (are) £3.3m"

To quote the chairman's statement with the final 2019 results, announced on 23 October:

"We [QM Systems] have carried over approximately £2.6 million of orders into our current financial year and the first three and a half months to date have seen a further order intake of £2.7 million."

According to today's RNS, the new £1m order brings QMS's orders since 1 July to £3.3m. Huh?? Simple arithmetic says this ought to be £3.7m at the very least, even if no other orders at all were landed in the last 7 weeks. The company has neither explained, nor apologised for, the apparent anomaly. One might suspect that one of the £600K contracts announced on 10 and 16 September had been cancelled or deferred - but in that case, wouldn't the company have been obliged to issue an RNS to that effect? It hasn't done so.

Something doesn't stack up. But what?

Sold 3/4 of my stock.

If this market was not so pump and dump I would have held them all but I would bet all my money that every buyer on the news and spike will sell either today or tomorrow.

Already a few are taking losses having held for less than 30 minutes
