I think it's been evident a LOT of stuff going on in background

Management seemingly increasingly confident (but they are conservative so always seek to under-promise and over-deliver)

They've known since late 2019 they were reeling in a Big Pharma

If it isn't GSK/AZN/Pfizer (my top 3 guesses) then we've still got one of those to look forward to !

Basically it's Domino theory / Snowball effect.

Merck KGaA way ahead of the curve. A real bleeding edge player.

Next Pharma will be a Leading Edge payer.

We are maybe 2-3 years from going seriously Mass Market where EVERY BIG PHARMA will need to get on board. Maybe even FDA / MHRA etc will start to REQUIRE Companies to submit In-Silico Clinical Studies alongside normal in-vitro/in-vivo studies ?

Seriously revolutionary stuff.

Glad Schrodinger is listed now so people can see this is the AGE of COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY

In this regard, in the last two working days, the Company has received a strong indication that a significant contract is likely to be signed with a new large pharmaceutical client, with which it has been in discussions since late 2019. While is it still possible that the potential new client could withdraw, it is the Directors' opinion that this is unlikely.

All in the placing RNS. Company have put it in black and white for investors. As soon as I saw the placing was sticky it was an easy decision to take a decent stake ahead of news.

The company has been very well supported recently by individuals and ii’s.

Zahid Ali increased his holding to 5.04% on 15th May and in the placing RNS the company stated that a new (its first) institutional fund took part. TR1 due over the next couple of days.

The key upcoming catalyst is the significant contract due with a new large pharma as mentioned in the placing RNS. The last time they announced a significant contract with Merck the share price went nuts. 30 bagged. Not expecting the same but RvR is very good from this level.

Think this is under the radar.
Investors chasing Covid-19 vaccine and testing kit shares.
Some stocks over-inflated, also not all will be successful.
When we have contract news here, hopefully soon, this will explode.
IMHO

Did a thread on possible contenders to be the 'Large Pharma' client

4 of Physiomics employees/chair/ceo have AstraZeneca and GSK/Glaxo links

PYC could also possibly gain access to Pfizer and GSK thru Merck KGaA relationship

If companies like AVCT can raise £50m at drop of a hat...

How much money is coming the way of 'picks and shovel' suppliers like PYC ?

Yep it's certainly in imminent territory now.RNS stated '... and the Directors believe that this has been further strengthened since that announcement. Should the contract be signed, the work is expected to take two of our technical staff around five months to complete.'
