So if they are buying back stock why is the bid dropping and/or why are they not buying at 17 in the market ?

How come you didn't declare your holding? I think you needed to hold around 150k to have to declare your holding.

Hi NTV,

I do "control" "a lot" of these. But it's spread over 4 accounts; one for myself, an ISA for an aged relative and two smaller accounts for other relatives.

For myself, I spent around 25k sterling, investing at prices around 10p, so it wasn't notifiable.

In total I invested 30K sterling through the other accounts, but I'm not the beneficial holder. Just the adviser.

The sale the other day was from my own account.

So nothing notifiable.

It's an interesting question, though - this is a rare company where a regular PI might need to think about that. For information, my family hold slightly over 2% and we're not selling (or buying more).

you are correct, my mistake, I was thinking of 1% for some reason

I make it that you'd need 440318 to have to declare.

Very positive news. NAV will still climb if buyback is at circa 50% nav.
But share price may climb if buyback chases small sellers.
Very small co; spread should narrow.

Depends whose cash it is and whether they are bothered or more likely a split sale of mixed prices

How do these people ever make any money ?

Cannot believe the market cap is just £2.5 mil.

You see stocks like ITX £50 mil and their numbers are worse.

Last time I saw something like this was PPIX at 1.3p and that went to 7p.

I've just noticed I've sold 50,000 at 18.5p this morning.

I left several long-term limit orders at 18p+ a few weeks ago. but only one got taken out this morning. I've cancelled the others!

The trading update is as expected in view of circumstances.

However, H2 was significantly better than H1: EBITDA of £338k versus £182k. They continue to generate cash. Net cash now at £1.2m sterling, in spite of write offs of some accounts due to client bankruptcies.

So pretty encouraging when combined with the buybacks.

If you have a lot it might be hard to get a price online?

So the buy back facility: you ring up Novum Securities and ask to sell your shares direct to them: is there any advantage over selling through the market?

I've been trying to buy but no quote online for any at 17p

meanwhile others are selling below 16p, does nobody check limits anymore.

Somebody bought 4573 19.68p and just sold them for 15.65p when you cannot buy at 17p
so many idiots in this game

Happy with our holding
Should have guessed some sort of corporate action was due to be announced,
Been tracking the constant small buys

Not much to disagree with, but I hope they don't delist. Too many good companies have disappeared from the market. I top up occasionally (it's my largest holding in terms of percentage of the company, but I expect that's true for most of us) and I'd like to stay aboard.

If they're happy to be listed now, why not keep it? If it comes to a takeover, might the listing be worth something to a predator?

Marlowe(MRL) still buying.Just raised £100 m.Looking at scores of small companies. Come on PHSC, either sell out near net asset value or buy your own add-ons. Perhaps all will revealed with the next results.Too small to stand alone!
