What a carry-on James McKenzie - what have you done to keep yourself in a job and drawing a decent salary while the mugs that bought into your letter of intent lose even more, as I suggested would happen.

Selling Camtronics Vale Ltd with assets of £1.78 million for a total of £150k and being paid in dribbles and a loan transfer to CVH of circa £460k plus a finance loan of £95k. Nothing more than another smoke and mirrors job.

Of course J.M is going to be positive in order to keep bleeding money from the market.

Stakeholders should boot him and the rest of the board in to touch -that is if the company can continue for much longer with the burn rate and lack of orders.

BEWARE!!

Volume jumping today, is it about to get the ramping brigade aboard, to raise more funds in the same way it was last time?

Could they be about to come up with a decent order but need a load of cash to be able to cater for it, or some sort of other pretext to keep the directors drawing their dues at investors expense?

Hi Puugugly, I think this goes back to the trials of long ago at St.Marys Hospital Dementia Ward and the false hopes that were raised from it.

I have seen nothing else so far that would confirm that large orders have come from these trials or any other scientific evidence but one never knows.

However, even if there were to be a larger order the company must be in desperate need of more funds, so this looks more like the last time they needed to keep their monthly salaries paid by sucking in PI`s and then a funding at 1.25p.

Beware!!

NHS doesn't have much spare money either, smells of a ramp. Looking at management performance over the years, I see the keep away signs.

They will need to issue a RNS due to the price jump if that is the case.

A good old twitter ramp, big contracts with the NHS on the way.

I guess there is another cash call coming and the share price is being worked upon before another positive RNS is released to raise more funds to keep the BOD salaries.

Inside trading or could it be a bid by chance?

Snouts in the trough once again, and even McKenzie`s wife is being awarded options now. Maybe it was for advice on how to keep themselves in a job while the company continues to lose money.

Clearly their best is not good enough for most investors buggy but I must admit they are pretty smart having keep themselves at the head of a company for many years that has never made any money. It has been said in the past on these threads, that they are not very welcoming when investors try visiting.

CT,

They are doing their best. The guys at the top are great at inventing and generating ideas ..they are not very good at running a business and unfortunately they have not figured that out over the last ten years. They are academically bright.

Sometimes when you are smart in one specific area we can tend to think that it makes us generally smart in all aspects of life. As they say over at my end plenty of brains with no common sense.

They should have the good sense to stick to what they are good at and hire someone with the skill set required as the CEO and commercial director.

Even if they managed to raise money, at this level they can't get much and when they insist on ploughing it into areas of the business that are money sinks then whatever they get will not last long.

buggy, you forgot that they are good at keeping themselves in a paid job with trips to Vegas at investors expenses. Do you think they can get away with another funding or will they come up with another way of keeping themselves on the gravy train?

Magic,

what begins? .. a cash call?

At this price not sure how much they could raise. Great concept but appalling management. They have no idea how to commercialese the products. They are not even sure of their core area of business on which to focus their attention and resource.
.
1. They think they are manufacturers ... but that arm of the business has been burning money year on year .. a money sink.
2. They sell lighting fittings which again is a money sink.
3.They want to transition to connected lighting, (IOT), and circadian lighting business but they still pour money down the drain supporting the above two money sink which clearly have no future.

The company has been going for over 10 years now and has not made a profit during that time. During that time it has been led by near enough the same team

I would have thought that any sensible management , once they find that they can not compete in price with products from their manufacturing factory they will think of outsourcing the manufacturing to a low cost centre. It is not a business model if you manufacture only to find that you can't sell at a price point to make a profit. One year loss.. you may explain away as extraneous factors 4 years or more on the trot .. then you should identify that you do not have a business plan/model that is sustainable. You will get more from your money if you through it into the
river Clyde.. you may actually stun a trout and get something for your money.
Alternatively the money could have been best used developing the area of the business where you see your future, IOT and Circadian.

This is the usual classic case of where you have a technocrat trying to run a business.. they should just stick to their core area of expertise , design and idea generation and bring someone with business development expertise to run the company.

Take a look at what happened to LWRF once they got in someone that actually knows how to run a business and the Engineers got back to their core area of expertise which is product development. [ Mind you I do not think that LWRF has a sustainable business model, but having a competent person at the top, they trying to make a good fist of it].

Over here this team is so unfocused and all over the place... they have at least 7 different Websites that you wonder how they can build a brand identity. I still can not tell which one is actually their core website. Links on some websites are not working or take you to a different product to the description on the link.. it all smacks of pure amateurism.

The guys at the top here may be good at inventing thing but a lot of good invention does not make it into the commercial space mainly because the guy that invents/develops the product/idea thinks that this also make him/her good at commercialisation. The products/ideas that make it invariably are the ones that bring in someone else with expertise at commercialising ideas/products.

First step here should be a review of the entire portfolio and close off all the ones that have negligible hope of making money or ids not in the future direction of the company. {The manufacturing plant and selling of light fittings has been going on for 10 years and has not really led to the company making a profit so why exactly do they think that it will make money now.. what have changed except that the price pressure have become greater and competition for cheaper import more
sever.]. Concentrate resource on developing and commercialising areas of the business that is in the go forward plan.

It is really a pity as their concept for commercial connected lighting is a great idea.. but while they are mucking around the opportunity is slipping away as others entrants that has better focus and more expertise at commercialisation enter the market.

Now that's my rant over, so I will get off my soap box.
