yf23_1...378m is the total number of shares in issue. It looks to me like Dan David Foundation reduced to 8.627% yesterday. Previous notification (20th December 2019) was 9.891% so that's about 4.8m shares. There were 2 other Holdings RNSs in December in which DDF reduced and Schroders picked them up. @ 5.1% Miton now have around 19.3m shares. Since there was no previous notification I imagine they must have accumulated a few more recently too?

Remember when Dan run the Company. Arguably the current dividend is too high as PHTM continue to plough investment in to the rapidly expanding B2C laundry operation. Appreciate some will disagree with that view.

So, to clear up the RNS's, it appears Dan David Foundation sold some yesterday and today sold all remaining 19 million to Miton Group. The former chairman of Photo-me moved his shares to Dan David Foundation some years ago.

av, What's the need for the borrowing then, if they are generating plenty of cash? Total borrowing has gone from 11m to 70m in the last 2 years. Last time PHTM had similar situation of high borrowings and decreasing EPS in 2007, div was suspended a year later. Numbers aren't as severe atm, but still a worry for me.

Sold 4.8m judging by the change in percentage holding. I wonder if that's it for them?

kmreid Whilst I agree there is a question mark over whether the divi is sustainable and whether they will continue the pay out at current levels into the next financial year, there is not a problem with borrowings. The business is very cash generative and at the date of the interims the co had some £25m of net cash.Rgds av

Nice dividend, but my worry is that it's unsustainable with the increased R&D and borrowing.

The volume certainly is large today and I wonder if this is the seller clearing. Fundamentally this is an excellent price with significant yield.

The UK photo business only made £1M profit last year anyway?

The UK photo ops have had a couple of bad patches and 1 restructuring in last, I guess, 3 years or so. Had not heard of a falling out with major customers but maybe they prefer not to give those details. I thk what ties the activities together is the field engineer asset. Across ID, rides, fruit juice, laundry and print. Quite liked the juice acquisition but who can tell. For the moment group continues to generate good cash. It is prob about halfway through capex surge (given cash position)which is always risky, I reckon laundry seems ok, growth rates good, though it is still quite small.

Neve, the Juice business operates in France only atm, from my understanding. There are plenty of Revolution laundry washes in the UK. Not holding atm as think the Company is arguably operating in too many business areas. Disagreed with the ASDA photo printing business acquisition at the time, as I mentioned on here. That may have been an expensive decision?, however I don't have specific details
