I still don't understand why they did the ASDA deal,
with ample opportunities for growth in laundry.

Noticed that podgyted...was just about to post something similar. I had expected PHTM to recover with the rest of the market after the March drop but perhaps an overhang has prevented it thus far. If there is an overhang then hopefully a large buyer will see the same opportunity and mop it up.

Thinking of buying here. However, it looks like someone is selling a large stake at the moment - 3m traded so far today - Dan David Foundation above? PT

OK thanks. He died in 2011. The Dan David Foundation recently went below 12%. That's it as far as I understand it.

I thought I read (on here) that he owned about 10% of the shares and that he'd died.
It would explain the continued drifting if they're selling it down. Usually there is a large counter-balancing trade at the close unless a big order has not finished.

yf23_1...can you please explain what you mean by (presumably) Dan David's estate being wound down? thanks

If this sees 140p I might be thinking of topping myself.

Looks like a good buying opportunity as the aforementioned chap's estate is wound down as evidenced by more buys than sells with no corresponding sell at the close.

Year End Trading Update scheduled for May, per PHTM website. Hopefully that'll give the share price a boost.

Likely to be towards the end of May as it was 2nd June last year and bearing in mind we now have a new FD.

Dan David, deceased, according to Wiki, was a Chairman of PHTM.

DDF has been invested here for 10 or so years I believe - looks to me like their holding has just slipped below 12%

Just had a cheeky little top up to take advantage of this dip ahead of ex-div date tomorrow for the interim 3.71p

With the pledge to increase the divi for this year by 20% vs last year, the yield is over 5% at the current share price of £1.61 - quite handy in the current market

vh1 - trading within range; exactly. Nothing worse than that.
I used to have a good chunk of these, but moved on while share price went nowhere.

IMO, bar a P.E. T/O, PHTM are great to hold in a bear market
but dish-water dull in a bull phase.

If Brexit proves to be the disaster Boris the bafoon has become,
then I''ll be back in here, but only for safety,
not exhilarating profits!

This is purely trading within range, expecting the price to head back to 190p leading up to the next update in May

shaken a bit by CVR though minimal exposure. Makes me suspicious of any unexplained fall - what are management hiding?

? Brexit haze, pound strengthening v Euro? general market fall and nervousness?
Still happy to hold unless we get some news to change that!
All the best
