Thing is has Bob got the guts to say why he resigned. If this was going anywhere he would not have gone. He beat up a few Croatian murdering war criminals in the mid 1990's. But twenty years later he can't resolve a problem with local thugs? Ask yourself why.

Well, it was a silly remark you made really but I did not want to expose your ignorance too much. The Russians are behind it. LOL!!!! International conspiracy theories are fine but a bit more closer to home in this case I think.

R G Fletcher 17 Dec'14 - 12:23 - 4005 of 4006 2 0 On top of all of that Russia has always laid claim to the region . I wonder who funds the rebellious locals...........funny that innit! Not too sure it is quite like that. However, I think you could reasonably conclude that it is the Kryg government that secretly sponsors the local gangs. OXUS gold is a good case study (Uzbekistan) and worth reading up on. Sadly the hope that Kryg was gradually moving away from large scale corruption was misplaced. When corruption is built into the culture and mindset of these people, it is very hard to change.

pgr 20% I reckon with rouble tumbling (intra-day minus 25% yesterday), the gov't will need all the revenue it can generate (get the mines operational) to pay its gov't salaries...
