27/2/2014 19:42 | I am afraid I agree with the negativity - particularly the delay in resolving the disruption to work. Before all this happened I did some research on the country they operate and the region was known for this kind of thing. However there was hope that Kyrgyzstan might be one country emerging from the darkness of the past. The Bob Stewart words about the improving climate also persuaded me that things might be different. He knows this part of the world and even allowing for the extremely generous words about the country etc and sucking up to the Kyrg Government, it sounded hopeful. Since the last news I have been doing more research. Personally I think these gangs of thugs are secretly organised by elements in the government. A kind of rent a mob mentality that you see in places like Uzbekistan and other places. I think it is done as a way of bringing foreign companies into line/using leverage and paying bribes and pressurising. I hope I am wrong but to be quite honest if a country wants inward investment, the government would have sent in the police with baseball bats to crack some heads. You don't allow these groups to threaten and disrupt foreign businesses indefinitely. I will not be investing here again until things improve considerably although I might trade these again given the opportunity. | loverat
27/2/2014 18:46 | No just being realistic. It would have been good to see the directors waive their fees whilst the company is effectively in hibernation but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Meanwhile the limited funds available are being used to cover professional fees, director fees, staff and other maintenance costs. I consider myself very fortunate to have traded the last spike of note, sadly many loyal and long term holders did not do the same. | mike111d

26/2/2014 12:16 | Sadly this smacks of too little too late. The question has to be will those creating the issues on the ground be happy to walk away come May, as breaking the law is clearly not an issue for them. Perhaps they will be physically forced to back down? | mike111d
26/2/2014 08:46 | After the "winter recess" this RNS is hardly inspirational. These kind of local geopolitical issues have to be expected when mining in such an area. It's how the issues are dealt with that's key to the management. After such a long period, this report seems a bit lame & lacking IMO. As a holder I hope for better very soon. | mortimer7
26/2/2014 07:55 | This is a positive step forward imo. | nickg2
