I'm not blaming you for my loss Oilbuy. My money was gone the moment I invested in this crowd, and that was long before you started ramping!
People who were encouraged to buy by your endless string of positive posts might be anoyed though

Something does not add up to me as in the report issued on the 25/9 you had:

Outlook
With the benefit of the funding, the Company plans to upgrade and extend the areas of known mineralisation and to undertake a drilling programme to allow a three dimensional picture of the mineralisation to be assessed. The Company looks forward to reporting operational developments in respect of these objectives as soon as it is in a position to do so.

and then on the 4/10 they decided to report on the issues on the ground.

I personally find it hard to believe that these issues only kicked off over the past few weeks.

Cudman.A nonsense post. Clutching at straws. Im also down here. How was anybody to know there was an issue with gangs. I dont have inside information. All information I posted was taken from company RNS' S. If a maiden resource was to be announced Sept / Oct why did the company not inform us investors earlier. You should be contacting PGR and not blaming me for your loss.OilbuyIm an investor just like you and anybody else.

the government needs successful investment, so expect there to be the necessary help and assistance, as indicated by the Operational Update RNS:-

"The Company has been informed that the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed by the Prime Minister to resolve the issue."

Also as Richard Nolan, CEO of Premier Gold, commented in the same RNS:

"The Company's primary objective is to resolve the local issues in order that activity on Cholokkaindy can commence safely, either before the first snow fall, or immediately at the outset of the next weather window beginning in Q2 next year. We are in regular contact with our representatives in the Kyrgyz Republic who are working with the government to resolve the issues. Premier Gold has repeatedly been impressed by the Kyrgyz government's encouragement of investment in the mining sector and we are confident that they are affording the Company all the necessary support required to resume activity as soon as possible."

"The Company has, however, encountered resistance from factions of local gangs seeking to hold up the work programme at Cholokkaindy illegally. These gangs have sought to threaten and intimidate employees of the Company and its Kyrgyz contractors."

I wonder can the government sort out these gangs Nap.
Is it guerilla warfare or are these only "mickey mouse" boys.

not in cicc anymore, but made a few thousand profit on that and should have maybe stayed in longer than i did. yes, am currently in pfp, and thats just a waiting game, you have seen the court ruling, so its a matter of time and funding. not much life left in ngp unfortunately but maybe something will come out of the recent news that was released, but yet to see what ahppens. have an order in for more here, big spreadh, .12/.17, bought at 15 and 16 earlier in the week so will be looking to get in under that. still absolutely no problem with holding here. landsted has been a disaster thats agreed upon, but apart from that, we will have to wait to see what happens here. big chunky sells this morning, 6.73mil at .11

Appears to be a P&D being orchestrated....... best of luck lads.

Just a word of advice for anyone fairly new to the site.
Always beware Topinfo and Oilbuy!
I got numerous replies from them (Oilbuy in particular) when I posted the above on the 17th August.
There is a crowd of them that work together ramping a stock for their own benefit.
No doubt they have moved on elsewhere now.

peawacks. Now is the time to be buying PGR. I know your a long term holder. I was also a holder and sold out. With a market cap of 2.7m PGR is undervalued. Landstead is not an issue for investors buying at theses levels and who knows if the maiden resources is very good Landstead might be happy to hold.

One must look to the future as the damage with Landstead is already done and theres no point crying over spilt milk. The share price is rerating due to news and an increase interest in mineral exploration and development companies.

Going forward there are a lot more positives than negatives that i can see.

I believe the time for rerate is now and if the volumes traded continue to increase Lanstead will not be a problem!

Peawacks. Now is the time to be buying the rerate has started due to anticipation of maiden results , also there has been a lot of money made over the last few weeks and it needs a new home. We are very well positioned at this point.

AIM shares are news and volume driven.

REM went up on the back of news and with that volume. We will be no different.

gold miners have been shorted continuously for several years and have not reflected the rise in the value of gold as investors have preferred to invest in the actual commodity rather than its production, but this is now beginning to reverse. gold has dropped from its highs of 2 years ago but has now found a steady and stable base.

PGR will be part of the gold mining recovery, but are several years from actually producing anything other than good news and promises of a profitable project in years to come, probably 3 to 5 years before they get any return.

so is a mkt cap of £2.7m realistic and justified?

personally i think this could be worth up £8m - £10m at this early stage.

I don't think anyone here is putting Col Stewart on a pedestal. It is just another plus point of this company and I think it is reaasuring to know that this company has directors who are perceived to be honest and decent. I think I would rather have someone of his standing on the board than David Lenigas of REM.

I have no idea how many shares he owns here but I think it was quite clear from the previous statements made by the company how his involvement will be beneficial to this company. An understanding of the country, politics and potential influence is invaluable.

Can see this going sub 0.10p

Dead money at best and no support on the chart

The rampers have all gone very quiet which means they have either sold out and don't have the balls to admit they were wrong or they are selling right now and don't have the balls to admit they were wrong

just because there is a bit of unrest on the ground doesnt mean the company is bust. I have topped up alot over the past few days and very happy with my price now. not worried in the slightest. obviously if there is all out war or if the mine is nationalised then there is something to worry about but this is not the case in the slightest. the fundamentals havnt changed

You had much the same opinion on NGP.
Do you reckon this will turn out any better than that did?

I will still follow PGR as it is an interesting company and region it operates. Some people might compare the country with Uzbekistan which has substantial deposits of gold but has a government which steals foreign assets. OXUS gold has a case going on there at the moment. Intimidation by gangs was the MO for many years before they stole the whole mine.

I note Bob Stewart has praised Kyrgyzstan and there seems to be a democracy of sorts there. It is probably a fragile democracy though and his comments in part are probably meant to warm up to the government and people etc. I do wonder if these local mafia groups really operate under some sort of central government control and they are applying pressure for some reason. Or perhaps it is purely local. Alot of countries in Central Asia democratic or otherwise would not tolerate demonstrations or groups of yobs disrupting business and any government, sincere in its dealings would have them moved along quickly.

Have to agree I'm afraid. I might be wrong and anything can happen etc but I see nothing to drive this share forward this year. Lanstead seem to have artificially affected the share price since they have been involved and bar one occasion, there has been no opportunity to make a profit. Each rise is sold into and now there is disruption to operations from the local mafia which could go on and is always a worry. Upside might come if that issue is resolved in the meantime.

Therefore I have sold out my remaining for now to preserve the profits I did make on this. Might be back when Lanstead are gone.

In one way things have not changed. Lanstead were never going to let this rise, but the company have noe effectively given them millions of shares for virtually nothing ! Where does the cash come from now ?
