As confirmed by the table in the header above and the article below, we really couldn’t be in a better, safer, more supportive location for mining.

Still very much under the radar but recent drilling results suggest that won’t be the case for much longer.

The next PGM lunch meeting will be held in the St James’s area of London on Wednesday 28th November.

An opportunity to meet 3 of the directors, to receive an update on progress and ask questions in an informal setting.

There are limited places available and some have already been given to those who expressed an interest in the previous lunch meeting but weren’t able to attend.

If you’re interested in coming along, please send me a private message.

Added the highly respected Mining Journal Perceived Risk table to the header.

Out of all the global mining regions featured, Idaho is joint top and North West Territories in Canada where our high-grade Gordon Lake gold prospect is located is in fourth place!

As more and more countries move towards nationalism of their natural resources, often by stealth, we really couldn't be in better locations.

In 2016 our consulting geologist, Nigel Maund of Arcturus Geoconsult, stated: -: "The scale of the processes of skarn development, and associated hydrothermal deposits, is characteristic of a large 3.5km long by 40 metre ("m") to 150m wide skarn system flanking a poorly understood parent intrusive body measuring 3,500m in north to south extent and some 250m to 500m in width. Whatever geologic metier one uses, the footprint of the Empire deposit(s) is that of a major mineralised system. Indeed, to date, the Empire Mine remains largely unexplored as a result of the history of the exploration of this project which, since the closure of the underground high-grade copper mine, has largely focused on a shallow copper oxide resource and has, importantly, almost totally ignored the entire supergene and protore sulphide copper - gold - silver - zinc - tungsten resource. Hence, work undertaken to date has exploited or explored in the vicinity of approximately 5% of the deposit's overall potential, or less".

Programme Highlights

· The mineralisation within the recently expanded property footprint suggests a vast mineralised system following mapping, sampling and drilling programmes

· Mineralisation now proven along a 3.5 kilometre ("km") strike within the expanded 1,837-acre property with the existing shallow oxide resource envelope along a 1km strike (which is the subject of an ongoing Bankable Feasibility Study)

· The Company will now fast track further exploration work as well completing the Bankable Feasibility Study

· Drilling in and around the Empire oxide resource envelope returned high grade copper and silver assays, and confirmation of the presence of sulphides.

Events over on ARS today make me very glad we're based in a very safe and pro-mining location with full support at local, state and governmental level.

Comments from share price Angel:Conclusion: These are a great set of results indicating potential to feed a new mill relatively quickly with good copper / gold grades straight from surface in the old mine to enable a rapid and low cost restart of the old Empire mine.We are waiting on assay results from 14 diamond drill holes and 5 RC holes as well as a further 25 surface channel samples from the new Red Star trend at Empire.Red Star is 330m north-west of the northern end of the designed oxide open pit and is a 20m-wide surface outcrop across the structure and is a mix of copper oxides and sulphide.Phoenix also plans additional drilling and surface channel sampling over the next few months.

Brandon Hill's comments on today's drilling announcement:CommentThis is another excellent set of results. These channel samples are consistent with the near surface drilling results around the property and confirm that the ore continues to the surface. The samples were collected from outcroppings and road cuts oriented across the dip of the skarn, all within the proposed open pit, providing for channels that cut the true thickness of the mineralization in the same fashion as a drill hole oriented perpendicular to the mineralized zone. Additional channel samples will be collected as new road cuts and outcroppings of skarn present themselves. The other key takeaway from these results are that they help plan the design of the pit. We assume that the pit will start in ore, with little or no need for a pre-strip, which keep the initial costs down. There are currently five RC holes and 14 diamond drill holes awaiting assay results, as well as 25 surface channel samples from the new Redstar trend at the Empire. These results will be announced following the receipt of assay certificates and QA/QC sign-off. Additional drilling and further channel sampling is also planned over the next few months. If results such as these continue to be generated, there will be continued pressure to change the proposed heap leach to a tanked or agitated leach, yielding significantly higher recoveries and allowing the precious metals to be recovered concurrently with the copper.

If as seems likely (and the Directors have said so in various ways) there is demand for shares from people in and around the mine in Idaho, this will not take long for a bit of a re-rate to a higher share price and valuation.

The Directors would not have gone down this route without a good bit of PR and a RNS or two to perk up interest....IMHO

Extract from broker note by Brandon Hill Capital:CommentThis is another excellent set of drill results and lends much support to our argument in the last flashnote that BHC expects a significant increase in the size of the ore resource when it is recalculated. In the highlights, the first two holes were drilled within the proposed open pit to upgrade the inferred resources whereas the other 5 holes were drilled outside the open pit.The grades are reported as copper equivalent grades which is a departure from the norm for Phoenix. This does not detract from the fact that some of the holes have very good copper grades, as shown in the Phoenix press release. However, it does show that there are some very good zinc, gold and silver grades in the anticipated open pit. This could sway management's thinking about a simple heap leach for copper only. If an agitated or tanked leach were to be used, the costs would rise, but the recoveries would go up by around 50% and the gold and silver could be taken up front instead of when the copper leach is completed in around 10 years' time. Because such a circuit would require a grinding circuit, it would also facilitate the processing of sulphides once the oxide mining was complete.Five of the reported holes were primarily in bornite and chalcopyrite copper sulphide mineralisation. Exactly which holes they were was not disclosed, but as most of the holes were relatively shallow, it suggests that the sulphide zone starts at a shallow depth and may confirmed the presence of sulphide mineralisation beneath the oxide open pit.Phoenix also reported the discovery of a new zone of surface mineralisation in the Empire block, now referred to as Red Star. Red Star is located approximately 330m north-west of the northern end of the Empire resource area and is a 20m-wide surface outcrop across the structure. The mineralisation is a mix of oxides and sulphides, with strong chrysocolla and bornite showings, exposed in a heavily timbered canyon. There is a distinct possibility that the northern end of the Empire resource area could extend all the way to Red Star.Hole KX18-44 reported 19.8m of 1.88% copper including 7.6m of 4.23%, and 1.6m of 8.85% copper, all of which sits below the Empire PEA pit shell and is expected to have a positive effect on the expansion of the resource in that area.

I totally agree.

As I said in my post 347 in reply to your post 346 Denis’s comments “ game changing” are very significant.....and people are starting to pick up on our valuation, and that it should be a lot higher...

The OTC listing will also highlight our valuation in comparison to others .....and get our valuation rerated upwards by at least 100% hopefully
