25/5/2018 15:32 | Can only really go by the figures, as personal experience (mine quite good actually) is a bit like just reading reviews - not a very good guide. The figures now and for the next year at least look flat, so I can't see any reason for a rapid rebound. Its not like a business that is growing reliably at say 5% a year and then has a hiccup. Plenty of time to wait for the start of a share price recovery which imo might be a lot of months away. If I were trading big dips, I'd be looking for something that had already had its various dips and pseudo-recovery, where the 'bad' news is now old news. That's what happened with RMG and TATE and a few others. They had their panic/worry dip, then a while stuck down there while the worry aged. | yump

25/5/2018 12:30 | I don't think that comment will help drive the share price up for a quick trade. When the dust settles I'm sure some income investors and funds will buy in a bit. | yump
25/5/2018 11:40 | dogs and cats need to eat food every day and this is where people go and get short back and sides on their mutts | opodio
25/5/2018 11:37 | I reckon if any physical retailers are going to have a long term and reliable future it will be those like HFD and PETS, who have decent reasons to keep getting store visitors. I haven't seen anything, but is there any mention of that Tesco trial anywhere in the finals ? As collect in store is actually very useful, if there's enough stores around, I wonder if collect in Tesco Express has some potential ? I did once collect a laptop in our local Express, but haven't seen any mention of that process recently - I wonder if Tesco didn't want the hassle ? | yump
25/5/2018 11:23 | PETS bounce coming HFD released having mimicked PETS trading pattern for 4trading sessions. On route... | cantrememberthis2
