bubloo I can see your argument about expats and how that might cancel out the ongoing swing towards Castillo, but are you absolutely sure that the expat votes are the last ones to be added in and that they are not being added in as we go along? You would think that some expat results would be available before some rural Peru results. Please share the information about the counting order if you have it - otherwise, going by that latest update (87.678% counted 50.586% F / 49.414% C), with the margin steadily shrinking, it does look as if Castillo will edge it. That certainly seems to be what the market is telling us.

86% counted 50.769% F / 49.231% C Looking like with the mostly rural vote to come this swings to Castillo. Feel sorry for Peruvians if so. Source: hxxps://www.resultadossep.eleccionesgenerales2021.pe/SEP2021/EleccionesPresidenciales/RePres/T

I am looking at the regional election results. I am going to stop doing analysis in part because I have to do something, but in part because it is so close that I cannot make trading decisions yet. Very much so too close to call.

Fujimori's counted percentage will go down. The question is how far. In some areas Castillo is getting over 85% of the vote and those are often the less counted areas. However, they also have small populations. (and I would not be surprised if there was electoral bullying going on).

Looks like it’s going to be close in the election. Fujimori currently ahead with 68% of the votes counted. But a lot of the remaining votes are rural which favours Castillo.

Here are my notes from the call yesterday. * When do we know if the 3P case is realistic? They are done drilling all wells for the 2P case early next year You would find out in the budget for 2022 as they would start drilling the 3P wells in the second half of next year. To get to the 3P case, 50% of the increase in oil is from the 2P wells performing better than expected, and 50% is from additional wells. * On the 7d well The 7d well came back higher than expected, meaning there is more oil in that particular area of the field. The 7d well exceeded even the 3P case. The 7d well was not horizontal as it was between existing wells and there wasn't enough space for it to drill horizontally. There is a possible case to drill more wells like the 7d in "sweet spots" between existing wells to get additional oil not yet accounted for. * What are they drilling next? A water disposal well is being drilled at the moment and will be finished in July The next well will be 8h, another horizontal well. This one will be on the southern side of the field After that 9H and 10H will be further out on the northern side of the field where results are more uncertain. * On buybacks/dividends/acquisitions? No buybacks or dividends planned. Money is going in the ground to increase production. $20m set aside for acquisitions, they could borrow another $25m if needed. Acquisition needs to add value and have synergies, he mentions 1+1=3 or better 4. Didn't seem like a deal was immediately happening * On Block 107 They will drill Constitution alone if they don't find a partner It is an easy drill next to a road They expect there will be a lot of interest for joint venture partners if they find oil at Constitution as it increases the likelyhood that Osheki (the much larger field) has oil as well as it has the same structure. They expect light sweet oil there which could then be mixed with Bretana oil to conform with ONP pipeline specifications. (At the moment they have to buy gasoline to do this) Oil would be trucked to Pucallpa and then barged to Bretana. * On Tax They expect to start paying income tax in 3-5 years, they still have large tax credits They don't expect some sort of carbon tax in Peru.

Both mean that I win if Castillo or Fujimori wins. Do you want another try? 😂 Buffy
