The gold sector is doing very bad
rrs has came down sharply from £80 to £47
CEY very bad too
Latest news :IRC , debt downgrade , gold price are accelerating the downside

I want to buy back...

Fitch downgrades Petropavlpvsk's rating to CCC from B-
International rating agency Fitch has downgraded long-term issuer default rating (IDR) of Petropavlovsk to CCC from B -, it follows from the message of the agency.

Just an observation, but does anyone have any idea as to what could be behind the large number of Uncrossed Trades (UTs) of late? Seems unusual to me, and wondered if it suggested anything going on outside of the norm?

I believe gold production at Malomir increased by over 50% from first half 2017 to first half 2018.
Malomir has the largest reserves of the Petropavlovsk mines but 90% are refractory and will not therefore add to production until the POX system is up and running.
Malomir has currently got an expected life of 16 years, but this could increase considerably with future exploration success.
If the company can resolve the IRC debt guarantee problem, then I will feel more optimistic about it's future than I have for many years.

this is the third year that POG share price has been stuck in the 6-9 pence range

If/When it does break above 9 p, it will be a strong and sudden move

Same applies to a break below 6 p, but that's not where my money is

As I see it, the problem for Petropavlovsk is that Malomir is completely mined out - just look at the diminishing production year on year. The POX hub, IRC and even the debt is just white noise. If they had the reserves in the ground they would have left these share price levels behind years ago, safe in the knowledge that the other things would be resolved in time.

Key factor is the debt guarantee on IRC: until this is cleared I am of the opinion that the share price will not move much over 8p. Also, the company is vulnerable until the IRC debt guarantee is gone IMHO: and I believe we've seen all sorts of attempts to wrestle control of the company over the last several years as a result of that guarantee.

Quiet, yes. Just beaten in to submission through the interminable dreary doldrums this company has been steered into. :-(
Am hoping for the share price to be resuscitated come Autumn following some positive updates.....but with this one you just never know any more....

A director has four days to inform the company of share trades, and the company have until the following day close of business to RNS it.

They are also in a "closed" period for 60 days preceding announcement of figures.

Insider trading rules also apply.
Can be very tricky for directors and if found out can go to jail.
