POO @ $85 p/b and yet we head south, maybe manipulated down ready for sale. AMER price dropped prior to an offer and the premium was cr@p. I’m sure we’re get shafted !!

The spread is as wide as its been for quite some time. I just tried a dummy sell for 600,000 shares and got offered 3.67p. Hopefully some news coming shortly.

I was tempted to buy a 100 on Euronext this Morning as the ask was 7 cent for a short while, just to see it in black and white.

They have made themselves as attractive as is possible to other suitors.
Exporting from licence 61 into Asian and European markets free from Mets tax is a masterstroke and has been completely missed by the market.
It's a hugely attractive and valuable asset and that was before this energy squeeze!
It's either just too good to be true or there's something we don't know about yet.

Personally, after 8 years, I'd prefer to see it sold, Griff. But for some longer term holders (and myself of course!)I'd like to see a big share price increase before any sale.

It's gonna be sold Kev,the updated reserves numbers are being finalised.
That just means,to me,the interested parties are looking at them and a price is being worked on.
If we sell everything I really can't see it going for less than £200 million.
I'm sure they have more than one suitor.
I continue to stick my neck out and say Zol are involved.

Looks more and more like divestment has moved either into second place or oblivion. See this from the Chairman's statement in the half-yearly report issued on 30.09.2021:

"As the Company’s performance has improved over the last two years, our focus has changed from asset divestment to a drive to increase production, cash flow and reserves."
