We are due an operational update fairly soon which I hope confirms that the good progress already demonstrated is continuing. The ability to actually produce profitably from its increased resources will be the gamechanger for PTR and its shareholders.

What's interesting is that their operational plan from last year actually delivered success in bring production in annually plus proving up and thereby bringing value to the reserves in Cheremhanskoye and Ledovoye(I think) So it's a case of layering on wells now and bring that production on stream. Should be a v value accretive next six mo this

From 2008.

Company Valuation – was suggested based on what reserves are booked to date the company should have a mkt cap of least $300m but could using more favourable criteria add another $100-200m to that. Also, once in production the value of reserves should go to $4/5 per barrel and possibly high as $6.
Once company producing 12k to 14k bopd in approx 2012 should have surplus annual income of $40-60 Million p/a.

If only any of that had happen.

Like now, the story was very compelling at the time.
