10/11/2015 07:34 | ravin, I have never shorted, I don't agree with it. I sold out here at 7p after the farmout was announced. | rcturner2
10/11/2015 07:04 | I'd expect the well result this week as enough time now to be tested. Imo should be 500+bopd, tallying to 3200bopd (1600bopd) | ravin146
09/11/2015 21:49 | RR .. We will probably get news in the next week, could even be tomorrow. The company did not say when we would get news but did say the hoped to have the current well in production towards the end of last month and previously said they would leave future wells to stabilize before giving a production figure. | dbarr0n
09/11/2015 21:20 | Rc, are you shorting these then if that is your view?I believe there is still scope to achieve 5-6p, bit of a long road indeed. There are a few holders on the other thread who I assume have high average prices and have continued to average down. I hope they recover their losses. But without clarity on what natlata and the other holders intentions are, currently what levels of oil price is it not economical? Can costs be cut further? How will future drilling be funded, if cashflow is not sufficient? When does this closed period ever end?! Will ptr look to farmout other sites to oil to fund those project?Rc you may be right to an extent but there is scope to improve certainly with reserve update soon and well result due now...Imo, dyor always. 09/11/2015 21:06 | The views expressed by Db & friends about the BOD ignore the fact that PTR makes a loss on its current production and has no sensible plan to change this.It would make sense to try to get costs under control but this is something our old BOD have never really tried hard to do.Natlata and Co are sitting on large paper losses and if they do nothing these will only grow. The new year might see them make a move to get much needed changes in the way PTR is managed. The AGM should be in late December and I suspect will be a sombre and downbeat affair. The long anticipated upgrade on Sib P2 reserves means little unless there is a sensible development plan whereby the Oil can be produced at a decent profit.VGLTA | seangwhite

09/11/2015 16:34 | The market for these types of stocks is over. Nobody is interested anymore. They don't make money for anyone but the directors. | rcturner2
09/11/2015 16:07 | Yes, I'm just looking at it from ptr's perspective. On that particular field, oil/ptr will I assume follow the original plan set out, but with oil falling recently again, it will get to a stage that it is not economically be durian to drill until price head back north. Sp has fallen again today, maybe the WADA re commendations are to blame?! Lol. | ravin146
09/11/2015 13:37 | ... - - - ... 😛 | spudders
09/11/2015 10:37 | RavI thought OI has already sanctioned all its investment funding in PTR.The low POO and low production levels are a recipe for problems. The belief that our old BOD are capable of dealing with them is stretching things a bit. Sibs reserves will increase and I hope they then sit back and cut all costs including the BODs.VGLTA | seangwhite
09/11/2015 06:46 | All fun and games continue....PRESS: Saudi Arabia Has No Plan To Cut Oil Production - FTPtr/Oil will imo, have to show investors their plan should the price ease further. Any cap ex cut backs and wait? | ravin146

06/11/2015 23:48 | Kev... Yes it was only a year end expectation, and yes we will most likely fall short but not by a whole lot. But some will keep on about it as they cant think of anything else to knock the company on. We have two more horizontal production wells to come online by year end, lets wait and see what the production figure is then. | dbarr0n |
