I dint say 3,500 bopd.
Why would T501 need to be 700 bopd ?.
We were at around 2,700 bopd 15 days ago.

It is difficult to believe that PTR will get to DB's 3500 by year end unless T501 is near to 700bopd.The price drifts lower with a test of the low 3s seeming likely.VGLTA

Interesting to note the goings on between these two have been sorted, I have an inkling Maxim Korobov may have or had some involvement as his name came up at a general meeting of Petrogrand, who hold the Nizhnepaninsky block on the same side of the River Ob and west of licence 61. Also note David Sturt mentioned in this article:

Near 3800-4000 will be ok, though not a roaring success as it not exceeding expectations of the top end of the range. Imo.

Based on results to date and the drilling programme for the coming year we expect gross production to almost double and reach between 3,500 and 4,000 bopd by the end of 2015.

If both T501 & T505 have initial production of about 500 bopd and allowing for a 300 bopd decline to year end that would bring the figure to about 3,400 bopd.

That is not far off the target they didn't make..

Not a very high bar for the Company to get over DB!
It would also confirm that the year end number will fall well short of guidance given by the dear old BOD earlier this year.
Maybe thats why the share price is continuing its drift lower.

The last RNS did state that a longer clean up and stabilization period would be used so maybe a later date for flow rate on T501VGLTA

The maths say they drilled and put the T502 horizontal well online in just a month.
They spudded the current horizontal well T501 between the 10th and 18th of September so I would expect an update before the end of the month

RavinThe 29m is the total of buys and sells so about 2% is my guess and that does not include repeat trades.If it were all buys surely the share price should rise.VGLTA

Lol Crudde. I don't want it to fall?! No. But the accumulation will see it imo. Plan of action is nothing. As no one can do anything. Natlata and the other large holder can do what they like. Do you honestly believe they will be sitting seeing the value of their shares falling and not buying to average lower or accumulate to gain some power over the bod? Or even bid? In the last month approximately 29m shares were traded, not a large volume and to me it shows no real signs of accumulation.
One fact we can know for sure is that our BOD did not buy a single share!.
The volume today of 100,000 in London says more about what is going on - very little.
Waiting for anything to move PTR is fairly debilitating.

Another quiet day in the market for PTR.The volume of shares being traded is so small I do not see any shifts in holdings being reported.POO is looking a bit better in the coming months so we can only hope some of the bullish sentiments comes our way.VGLTA
