Is that you sold out granto as I can see 4200 sale just gone through ;-)I hold a mighty wedge of these, in profit and no intensions of selling.Possible takeover or double in production coupled with drilling campaign Have a great weekend all

Granto..
Pick up the phone, has everyone forgot how to dial a number ?.
I am sure he gets hundreds of e mails and most of them are asking stupid questions which he cant afford to waste his time answering.
A phone call is the way to go, you get way more information.

to be frank, I am on the verge of selling out, I sent DF a personal email, no response. I am not an institutional investor but I would rank in the top 5% of Private investors in terms of holdings here. time to reconsider.

I doubt the BOD will be in employment in 12 months time. As an investor I believe they withhold RNS-able news .But saying that it seems that most Russian oilers listed in London are the same. Web site is terrible and out of date and they never self promote. I would like to see some type of presentation to explain current and future prospects, not really a lot to ask.For me I see value in the assets and partners ability , cus I can't base it on PTRs past success. It's seems drilling is being managed a with a bit more thought and value creation short term.Oil India have focused the management of PTR .But all in all happy to see this bobbing along , but I guess so are the likes of GI And Natlata .

sean..

1, The election or re election of directors is anything but a non event, they have been re elected by the shareholders each year including last year when Natlata put an alternative on the table. Do you remember what vote they got ? .

2, Salaries are not based on company performance.
3, Explain how a bad drill result is symptomatic of bad management ?.
4, The production figure from T-503 was 675 bopd as stated in the latest RNS.
5, I am in here since the start and will not be supporting Natlata regardless of an offer, full stop.

DbNice to see you back on the BBThe annual vote for BOD members by shareholders is in reality a non eventThe salaries paid here are not excessive for the industry but if related to the performance of this company they are very generousPTRs bad luck with some drills is symptomatic of bad management not being proactive and failing to learn lessons. What is the output from the first horizontal well - hard to know from the RNSs put out!Still think Natlata and Co will make a move and have my support over 6pVGLTA

1 The BOD have been elected by the shareholders each year.
2 The bod have been paid in line with sector and position.
3 A change in drilling contractor would not have changed results, but would have cost the company more and caused long drill hire delays.
4 I have never had a problem understanding company news. Its also regulated by the stock exchange. Whether some consider it opaque or not does not change the facts.
5 Directors purchasing shares may influence the share price in the very short term, but long term it would have no effect.

in turn they will be their own demise , they are somewhat aiding cheap accumilation of shares because of their lack of goodwill to the investment communities
which in turn makes it all a bit cloak and dagger which puts investors off.

The board of directors does not need to be changed, but they do need a new younger director who is less insular than Dennis Francis. The PR is simply brutal and the website looks like some teenagers built it in a class project. All of this leads to a sleepy image. Not answering emails is annoying. I have never ever got a reply.

DbThe BOD have managed to stay in post being well paid for a good number of years and to date have underperformed. They could have changed the drilling contractor a few years back - one.Stop the way that Company news is always put out in an opaque manner - twoPurchased a token number of shares in the open market to get a bit of notice in the press - threeIt's only a matter of time before Natlata move on this and I for one hope to get out then.VGLTA

Make news releases less predictable timing ect I believe they withhold news to release bi monthly might be a good start.Better PR update website and maybe answer the odd email.

DF and PD have been a very unfortunate team and that is why Natlata have been able to accumulate the large holding in PTR on the cheap. We need a change in the BOD to get the company going in a decent fashion.VGLTA

since last thursday , its really not hard to spot in a lightly traded share. as i said earlier natlata and GI have taken the low hanging fruit now they are going to market .
but they will still want to buy in a trading range say 4.5p to 5p....still damn cheap.
if news flow doesn't move this , its the II's that will

It's great to see some buys with little or no selling, but let's not tempt fate and break out the champers just yet as we are still sub 5p and anything could happen... GL2A
