Robin, apologies I should have been clearer, at the time PTR was selling oil domestically at $41 Brent on the international market was selling at $75. Now just because Brent is now $60 this does not follow that the insulated russian market is also down 25%. I heard a figure of $45 a bbl for siberian oil late last year. I imagine we are still at around $41 and maybe less. DF did say we have good economics even at $70, so we are now $60. Ok, I count the drilling would be continuing if were pumping at a loss. I know the gross cost of pumping oil is about $15 a barrel and all the extras push it up from there. As we all know, we are debt free, Capex carried, and infrastructure in place already. That's the three big bogeys out of the way. Any know or can they estimate the net profit per barrel currently. I know its changing with constant increases in production etc. but worth a stab anyone ? surely as a bare minimum we are making $5 net a barrel and thats being harsh I hope. so $5 by 2000 ( our share ) per day. $10,000 net profit. amounting to £3.500.000 annually. that's not a bad picture for a debt free company, with lots of exciting wells about to drill.

oilers doing well today on unexpected spike in world demand for oil last week, PTR selling to Russia - static.if $45 is correct, selling now at $41, compared to other oiler's experience, I would say is Brill..We have dumped our Debt, and in the last RNS added 20% to our production totals..with much more to come. bwtfdik.

ORM down 32.44%
PTR down 14.49%
Lansdowne Up 28%

Ormonde I feel was a real pity the chance was lost as the Spanish dragged the paperwork endlessly.
PTR, I like but I do find the management style to be painful at times. Good lord look at the website for example. awful.
Lansdowne. It's all down to the drilling currently underway. I promise if we hit gas I'll invite you to my castle for a 'community open day' Free cans of lager supplied.

Oh ladies relax, It was nothing. just a little insider information that you wouldn't understand anyway. ( peasants )

I assume your anger, and slightly childish comeback (to nothing) is a suggestion you are averaged here at double figures and ORM is not looking great either atm LOL....gl as you are the real peasant it looks like!

seangwhite.... if board members wont buy in at this share price level, then it's safe to assume that they ( who get well paid to direct this Co.) see little or no value here, or are just content to pocket their salaries "end of story" and don't give a hoot how this looks to potential investors looking in. This board desperately needs some shaking up Imo....!!!!

The next rns is key in relation to see if the target set by the company is achievable...the 550bopd is hopefully converted to 650ish for the t-5xyz well. And we have another well at 650 by then. As for reserve update, can't see anything imo until new year.6p is the next target.

RR, If DGO deal goes ahead I'll be adding profits here, nibbling a few here and there but nothing significant. Time to buy O&G imo with prices depressed and then sit it out for a few years, saying that I did that with PTR in 2008 and failed to take profits, so I'm still holding and ave down. Who Dares Wins ? 😃

The longer the BOD members continue to fail to buy shares the more the general market will view the current share price as being full value.Db a long time supporter of the BOD may like to give their reasons for this.VGLTA

granto,(if your post was related to my earlier one) I was just commenting, on 'Corporate interest' - I don't think we will get a 'Corporate take-over' either. I was just saying, the 'Corporate interest' (of two known accumulators) probably won't do much for the sp, as the method of acquisition (behind the scenes - MM's - multiple 8M deals appearing), doesn't seem to stimulate the, weak, PI market. It's also just a major shame, it's all taking place at such a pitifully low share price unless the PIs 'get wind' of what could be happening, behind the scenes...we just need PI's to buy & buy & buy...& then buy more...

Which PI are buying? Most float is held by large players not willing to offload. Seems like sideways movement is likely for short term.

they will need 75% of the share vote to go private, and I think that excludes their own shares….very very hard.

Let's hope it doesn't follow in the footsteps of CDEP, TMAN & MTA.... and leave us as shareholders in a private company.

this looks like it's gearing up for some corporate interest. the dealings of which, will be outside of PI's hands, as stock seems to be freely interchangeable for larger holders, and it looks like it's not coming from PI's.therefore the free stock, will need to be 'harder-fought-over' than it is currently...one day Rodney..
