Window is closing for anyone who wants in on the cheap, shares hit 3.7p last week, IG want 2.6p for just 100,000 shares and 2.85p for larger sizes. No quote available for smaller sizes.

Nothing available online, IG want 2.5p for 150,000 shares, as suspected they are fishing for shares, probably trying to fill a large order.

Staggered this has fallen so far, looking cheap now given recent very upbeat news.

RSI has gone from overbought to neutral in a few sessions, looks a decent entry point for recovery.

whoppy I would respectfully suggest you listen carefully to the presentation, CEO said they have many wells (he mentioned 6) that can be fracked but there are lots of options to increase value beyond production, deals and new reserves etc. The new management are a breath of fresh air compared to the old Board, I would like to see some broker research, the last note appears to be from 2011, it placed a valuation target of £250m on Petroneft, obviously things have moved on from those days but there is a great deal of upside to come in my view. Hopefully the RNS machine will keep firing good news.

Concern is they frack in the winter and then the oil wells decline throughout the year. This is historically what happens. You can see it on the production graphs. Building all weather roads will allow fracking all year round. It's good they can sell oil at the well head. Main concern though is the decline rate and how long the fracked wells produce for. The highest rates will be at the beginning of a frack. How much do these all weather roads cost? 6km is quite a long road. How much is fracking a well? Will they be able to grow organically? Only have one more well to frack, what happens after that?

They are still demanding a large premium for size, drop seems somewhat artificial therefore.

Interestingly one slide also shows well C4 on Licence 67 (90% interest) has moved from 55 bopd in February to 286 bopd on 10th March due to low cost stimulation. Clearly the low cost stimulation programme delivers material upside. The presentation was very revealing for a number of reasons.

Very positive presentation. & lots of news due. David let the cat out of the bag by saying they were now producing 2000 bopd from Licence 61, it was 1850 bopd in January. What's not to like here.

Just released a outstanding presentation commentary from the CEO, they are now producing 2000 bopd from Licence 61 and 450 bopd from Licence 67 with more to come, low cost fracking has delivered a 4 fold i production increase from an old well. This is a growth story from a exceptionally low base. All the makings of a £100m+ company = 9p/10p a share Https://www.directorstalkinterviews.com/petroneft-resources-investor-presentation/412968628

The new management team are certainly performing and are highly incentivised to deliver. I bought in last week, it was hard to buy any meaningful amount of shares however but will be adding again and hope to get to 1m. A short term target, especially with 18 month high oil prices, must be circa 7p, equally a £70m m/cap, even then cheap to peers.

The last research note was in 2011 would you believe, it offered a target valuation of £300m for the company, OK they now only have 50% of Licence 61 but other than that all the assets, Licences and prospects remain the same, not withstanding they have spent IRO of £90m for field/infrastructure development. Hopefully new research coverage will offer a target price many multiples of 3p.

Looking very good here - if the BOD can continue to deliver production increases (especially from Licence 67 where they now own 90%) say to a modest 3000 bopd (verses the current circa net to PTR 1500 bopd) then there is no reason why the market should not value the company around £75m - £85m on production alone. The recent interview draws attention to prospective new material reserves on new fields on Licence 67 - there appears to be no value placed on either existing reserves or anticipated increases either. Petroneft appears to be valued on production only, this cannot last - one would anticipate a research note shortly. In all Petroneft remains materially undervalued at £27m m/cap (920m shares issued @ 3p - 60% tightly held) Expect to hear more news shortly - a realistic mid term target has to be 8p-9p

I listened into the EGM with the motion passed in seconds. Gave an update on activities for about 25 minutes all along the lines of the previous David Sturt interview. Plenty of charts as s normal

What a great interview from David Sturt, shareholder value creation is the number one aim, what a refreshing prospect. The re-rate has a long way to go, even at 10p a share the company would only be valued at £90m, listen to the interview and see why this is easily attainable. Reserves on paper here have always been high but dubious due to issues with Wells but the new management has worked hard to understand the geology better and is developing in a slower more assured way. This will add confidence to the reserve figures and allow valuations to be partly based on 2P numbers which would give decent upside.
