Odd considering Natlata are still here, post farmout quoted they would continue to monitor etc. doesn't cost that much to run a website. We see a 250k sell most days...who the heck is selling now when a rns is due...very odd.

Thanks for the update Steel and whilst the idea of 'a rush' to the exploit Russia's large shale resource is something that PTR would surely benefit from it seems to me a long way out.
Natalata shutting down their website seems like common sense as they now seen to be waiting for the developments planned by PTR to succeed (or fail!) either way they will then make a decision on what to do with their substantial holding.
There seems to be no real sellers at the present time and I expect the share price to stay relatively stable for the next month or so.

SteelThanks for that info although iy looks a long way out especially if the Oil price stays around current levels.Let's hope our old BOD don't take their eyes of the current projects which on paper seem to work at these lower oil prices.VGLTA

Well Rav only a few diehards seem to be left here and the promised multi well development push is albeit slowly getting started.I hope that we get news fairly soon so as to get some interest in the stock. The Company has suffered from a low profile in the market which if Malcy were to be wined and dined could improve. Db's solo newsflow seems to have slowed down of late though I for one hope he has not lost heart in our old BODVGLTA

Loll as I just typed this, on British terrestrial tv...fitbit have a tv advert. You only sell a product if the market knows about it and can see it... Need more retailers and more marketing...I hope it's not just new retail packaging alone...pl needs to fix up!

The horizontal well did yield about 500 bopd (before the power cable was damaged) and proved the concept.The next horizontal wells are to be three times the length and if successful could improve production so as to attain the year end goal of 4k per day
At that sort of production PTR would hopefully justify double figures for the SP

Roll on Xmas and lets see how they have got on.

Sean did PTR not have a successful H well come on stream a few months back..??? Yes they did, and what did that successful outcome achieve re. the share price ...?? In short zero..!! So it's hard to see how the proposed yet longer ones will do much re.the share price either. It's so very hard to call what the future holds here for investors. GLA whenever the next Co. update surfaces....

Not expecting any large increases in well outputs until the soon to be drilled longer horizontal wells.These upcoming drills are the main hope for PTR to finally show what the operating licenses can actually produce economically.VGLTA

Upgrade and update seem to be getting used interchangeably here. I'd rather a reserves upgrade than an update. Unless the update was an upgrade of course ;)

As per the RNS in December 2014 they state the following:
Licence 61
· Seismic crew mobilised to the Sibkrayevskoye field

Licence 67
· Processing and interpretation of 3D seismic survey completed
· Reserves calculation for Russian State Approval being finalised

RNS in February 2015
Licence 61
• Acquisition of 1,000 km of high quality 2D seismic underway

They could have easily issued a production update by now. So fingers crossed for a reserves upgrade coupled with meeting their projected production targets. It's impossible to predict what's coming based on share price action with this one.
