16/2/2015 10:11 | Morning all.............For several days now I have experienced poor "Type-print" quality on these B/B posts.....is anyone else getting a problem? TIA | base98
16/2/2015 08:53 | POO up PTR down. | spudders
14/2/2015 16:12 | A good rule of thumb, if in doubt Ural Oils is usually between $1 and $1.50 below that of the Brent Crude Price. | loganair
14/2/2015 14:07 | Brent v Urals Crude Need to tick the Urals box. Also, use the slide control below the chart. | steelwatch
14/2/2015 12:53 | Brent crude, which has plunged in recent months amid a supply glut, climbed as high as $61.77 a barrel, breaking above $60 level for the first time since December amid hopes that global oil production will fall. Optimism about the world economy, spurred by better than expected German growth data and growing confidence Greece will reach a deal with its creditors, also gave metals prices a boost. | loganair
13/2/2015 22:53 | Yes agree. There are a few contradictory factors around at the moment..Russia - as a safe place to invest?Affect on Russia's economy re demand for oil, from Sanctions.Russian inflation rate re Demand for oil.Oil price recovery.Ruble rate v dollar.Etc etc.Somehow it feels like 'we're through the worst' though..surely? | rockin robin
13/2/2015 21:08 | Rockin Robin. I would prefer if the oil price didn't rise till after PetroNeft have some Rubles spent. | dbarr0n
13/2/2015 18:32 | Price of oil building nicely 40p - 61pIt's been so long since anything happened here, I forget, are PTR anything to do with oil? | rockin robin
12/2/2015 20:49 | Thanks Steelwatch. Danny, Yeh, it's very strange. There are some companies producing absolutely nothing and their sps are only slightly smaller than ours. It's puzzling. | kevjones2
12/2/2015 17:54 | The share price is now close to where it was just prior to the last news, when the price of oil was circa $45. so the market has placed no value on an increase of over 30% in daily production and a >20% increase in the price of oil! | danny111
12/2/2015 17:32 | Lol it's dropped c.8-9% since news...2% increase today is flattering.I would avoid any averaging down with this stock until further good news is released. Important six months ahead, oil price rebound? Russia situation calms down? US may increase interest rates? etc I've not even mention ptr itself! I wonder what production will be? I wonder if we will even rise back to 6-7p level?! | ravin146
12/2/2015 16:28 | Up 2%.Have we had another RNS? | rockin robin
12/2/2015 16:01 | Dbarron public corporate interest is out by a country mile. Reason why any good news has been suppressed. Russia agreed a ceasefire etc today, still no reaction?! | ravin146

12/2/2015 13:07 | I would be curious to know what exactly Ptr's marketing people are doing, or are supposed to be doing. Can anyone enlighten me on whether PTR contracted a marketing company and if so what exactly is their remit? | kevjones2
11/2/2015 23:48 | sean .. In my opinion the market valuation is out by a country mile here. We are producing 1225 bopd, Should be double that figure by year end which will be more than we were producing pre farm out. Operating costs have been halved with the farm out. No Debt, Oil India to spend $ 45 million on the licence. The Ruble has halved against the Dollar since the farm out, so now a lot more can be done on the development front than previously planned. OK the oil price is down but I dont think it is going to stay at these levels, most likely be nearer $ 80 in H2. | dbarr0n
11/2/2015 20:49 | One good rns, zero impact, now back into hibernation, see you in the spring. | j284
11/2/2015 19:02 | DbIt looks as if the market is applying the same decline rate to PTRs market cap.Let's hope a good run on the news front can reverse the trend.Next news could bring some sort of start to the turn srroundVGLTA | seangwhite
09/2/2015 19:28 | sean .. Its a pure guess.. I have used a 5% decline rate for the new wells, the present wells have declined at around 2%. I have not included any wells for the south of Arbuzovskoye next year and its possible they might use two production rigs on Sibkrayevskoye. Might get another update tomorrow or Thursday on the Arb 104 well.. | dbarr0n
09/2/2015 12:04 | Db, Thanks for the excellent work, it will be useful to see how PTRs actual production figures compare to this forecast. If they can meet this type of projected output increase this sort of timeframe we should be a lot happier with our share price come Xmas. VGLTA | seangwhite
09/2/2015 11:01 | Nice work Dbarr0n. Projecting that by August production will be more than double what it was at the start of the year. I'll take that. | dubhgeannain
08/2/2015 20:24 | The POO has less effect on PTR as it sells its oil in the domestic market. The deal OI did is for a longer time than the next year or so and who knows what the POO will be even in six months.PTR are starting from a low base and the BODs currency is not too high either.Let's await the next few RNSs to confirm the way forward.VGLTA | seangwhite
08/2/2015 09:33 | I do think we are all very lucky that the BoD managed to get this OIL deal over the line before the POO hit the fan. Had they not we would have been wiped out, as we now have a future. If -yes if -we continue to get good drilling results, good reserves upgrade, (not sure when that is due, could be imminent?) and get onto SIB then maybe just maybe we might start to get a positive share price reaction. Thankfully we are still at the wicket!! ATB PS - maybe with horizontal drilling at SIB we may get that extra bonus payment, but lets not get ahead of ourselves / myself!! | cfccfc1970
07/2/2015 12:20 | I have added a future production graph underneath the current production graph. All guesswork mind.... | dbarr0n
06/2/2015 21:18 | Rav... There are two sides to this coin as Oil India will like Ptr also only receive 50% of production output...!!! Do Oil India see something here that no one else sees as they surely didn't get hitched to tiny P.t.r. for the sake of a measly few thousand barrels a day... That just doesn't make any sense at all to me... It's akin to Mc Donalds taking over the local back street chipper...??? But what the hell do I know...!! | crudde99 |
