PTR has actually held up better than any of my other oilers, having said that not one share traded in LSE on Friday but still I actually for the first time hope PTR dont release any news in the next week or so!

I think most of the poor souls on this BB do not have memories that can recall such rare events as PTR giving out any news at a conference -
or via a clearly worded RNS

If the news when it comes is good i still expect a rather muted investor response to it as a result of the current negative oil industry sentiment and plummeting oil prices. GLA.

sean, ah no worries, i thought i missed an RNS, I was think about this, maybe , just maybe, this BoD, have decided to do things in a really proper way, and are not going to release a sloppy RNS. Maybe the want to perfect the well itself, stablise it and great a really accurate data from it or something to impress the bosses in Oil India. Or maybe they are just slow.

I'd rather late good news as opposed to on schedule bad news..!!! Let's hope for the good stuff cause this share price really seems to be rightly stuck in the Siberian mud frozen as it may well be. It's also hard to see OPEC cutting "their production" in order to counter a slumping oil price just to benefit their under pressure competitors..!!

sean - that's 4 days then. Thu, Fri, Mon and Tue. OB starts around 09:30. However, news will be announced when it's good and ready and not before. I am sure DF, if it is DF, will have plenty to say notwithstanding.
