timmy / cumnor, the Guardian article simply didn't say anything that wasn't already known. They can argue that they were refreshing the story ready for any outcome from the court case. Every newspaper recycles old news stories from time to time. The surprising thing with PFC is each publication leads to further price weakness. If markets were truly rational, investors would shrug their shoulders at the lack of new information.

The guardian is in dire straits financially. Does anyone on ADVFN actually give to its begging bowl requests for donations? Doubt it, such is the quality of its grade 2:1 journalism. Its business pages are therefore easy prey for vulture funds willing to throw a bob or two in their way.

Lowtrawler, agreed looks like Directions Hearings are simply for a Judge to advise on further actions (if any). So its possible that court does not need to be in session for directions to be given.Petrofac needs to engage with SFO solicitors to ask what the Judge thinks should happen next. If there is no further actions then thats it???
