OQ LPG Facility Commissioned in Salalah
Our Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) project for OQ has been commissioned in Salalah, Southern Oman.

Petrofac was awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the gas treatment project in 2017. With its centrepiece extraction facilities located in the Salalah Free Zone adjoining the Port of Salalah, the project has the potential to create a new energy hub for the production of LPG, with growing demand in both domestic and international markets. Our scope of work has included construction of the LPG unit and associated facilities, including tie-ins to existing pipeline infrastructure, together with LPG storage and jetty facilities at the port.

Ian Debattista, Petrofac’s Oman Country manager said:

Petrofac has been serving Oman’s oil and gas industry for more than 30 years, but this is our first project in the region of Salalah and also the first of its kind to extract LPG and condensate from OQ’s gas network. The facility has been built to the highest standards in safety, quality, and technical integrity, with more than 15 million work hours without any lost time incident. The creation of In-Country Value has been a key objective. Across the project we have engaged with more than 300 locally based businesses and our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in Dhofar have included the supply of medical equipment to the local community hospital.

Petrofac secures contract for bp project in Mauritania and Senegal
Petrofac has secured a contract with bp to develop operational procedures for their Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) Project in Mauritania and Senegal.

Centred on minimising risk and harm to personnel, plant and the environment, the procedures will encompass all offshore operations, including subsea, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) and hub.

Steve Webber, SVP Operations, said:

bp is an important longstanding client and we look forward to supporting them in operating safely and responsibly, in their delivery of the GTA Phase 1 Project, which is creating a new LNG hub in Africa.

As soon as this hits £1.30p the A/Ts move in and stop any rises, stalling it in its tracks, cannot carry on much longer, this stock should be pushing up from £1.40p levels now, shorts virtually out now, Blackrock the biggest and most successful know the score here and have all but closed.

Somebody pointed out shorts lowest in 5 years or so...can only be a matter of time. Just needs a positive catalyst or two then whoosh. All IMOV, not investment advice.

i honestly believe the crypto is now classed as fake-gold not digital-gold but yes we have done well from it. Lets get back to real-world assets like petrofac

Good evening all my biutiful emates

I am sorry for my absence. Big big trouble, I got into a fight with a tree 2 weeks ago after boozing 12 pints of lager, when Boris let the pubs to open. After getting out of prison , everything was closed. First time in many moons been in a pub, 3 years in the big house was no good.

Anyway lets talk bizness. What's happening with PFC going up or going down? Which way my friends want it?

Big iceberg order you are right could be an Insti throwing in the towel, seems the market does not want this rising for whatever reasons, lets see what happens , strange shorts out but the A/Ts still want it lower, has to be a big sell order getting worked....

Investment takes many forms. And we live in a very digital age which is only going to increase. Personally, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the "fake gold". Yes, it maybe difficult to understand crypto but when you start to you may well see some value. Just because something isn't in a physical state doesn't mean it's worthless. Times are changing. Sorry for off topic. I'm still long here with pfc. Good luck all holders.
