Sharecast News) - Petrofac shares tanked on Monday after the oilfield services provider said it had been notified by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) that it has been suspended from competing for new awards until further notice.
The suspension follows an announcement by the Serious Fraud Office in January of additional pleases by a former Petrofac employee under the Bribery Act 2010 in relation to historic contract awards in the UAE in 2013 and 2014.

Oh dear .

I think we have to remember that the world is not going to end, if anything there is now a huge back log of pent up work for companies like petrofac.. I also see smart money moving out of fake-gold (crypto) back into the real economy. engineering services are what people need in order to live real lives not just imaginary (ponzi) numbers on a computer screen. dot com bubble v2

Petrofac supports Seagreen to provide local school obstacle course
Petrofac has joined up with the other companies involved in the construction of the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, to provide the children of Tealing Primary school with a new obstacle course.

As part of the delivery of the offshore wind project, we are building a substation at Tealing which will connect the £3 billion wind farm to the national grid. Keen to support the community, and to thank them for their patience during construction, Petrofac teamed up with our client Seagreen Wind Energy Limited and contractor Linxon to fund the permanent obstacle course at the local school

Hedgeweek is way behind the curve as the chart shows disclosed short positions over 0.5% plunging from over 9% to 4.2% however Capital Fund Management has just disclosed 0.51% - quite when originally established.
