Break through of old 8p high looks possible near term. Slightest whiff of positive news and double digits here we come. Not without risk of course but very happy to gamble here given rewards on offer.

Tel, the LP and good drilling results are key but the LP is the green light. Part of me says if it were a no-goer we'd have heard by now so is it a case of crossing the I and Ts? To have both confirmed at the same time would be great but they have to inform the market as soon as they know. .Interesting times methinks..Zoo

From the RNS 03 April 2023

'Following discussions with selected drilling contractor, Major Drilling ("Major"), a spud date for the Velociraptor 1 well has been confirmed for June 2023 following completion of Major's current programme for another operator. All required equipment for the well is in country. Field work has commenced to make ready the water supply well that will be used to supply the operation. Site construction will commence during May in good time for the scheduled June spud. The well is expected to take around 30 days to drill to a prognosed total depth of c.1500m.'

Mike Buck, CEO of Petro Matad, said:

"As shareholders will know, we have wanted to drill Velociraptor for some time now and so we are very excited to have agreed a firm schedule with the drilling contractor. The necessary preparatory work is already underway and all equipment for the well is in country ensuring we are ready to spud in June."

So reading articles on Lse stating current drilling program will be finished by they contractor byonth end . So how long to move drill rig to new location and set up ?

Seems like it's just Ebb and flow to me. The share price has moved from under 2p to 6.2 in a matter in a few months!All pinned on the current drilling. We need to see the black stuff or it will be a big drop.

I would imagine there are quite a few shares from the 2p level where I got in, tripled your money, they will be sellers over 6p I imagine. Give it a week and they will likely be cleared. At least they are not dumping huge chunks and killing the SP
