NTOG potential 20x bagger this year:

Production up, oil price up and they don't hedge so are getting the current high price, new drill result expected next week, drilling another three more wells in the US this year, expect to be profitable this year and MCap just £3.1m.

What relevance Russia being next door to Mongolia? It's next door to a lot of countries. And nowhere near Ukraine.

The issue - as the RNS clearly states - is China Covid restrictions, preventing movement of key workers. How long that goes on for is anyone's guess.

It's a delay, and not a positive (& had clearly leaked already), but there's a lot in the price for MATD.

RNS Out & peppered with negative language & words like Pushing; Push; Try; Unwilling; Imposed; Impacted; Proposed; Pending; Progressing; Suggested; Possibility; Proposal & Investigating. Nothings happened & Q2s on the doorstep. I will be very surprised if anything happens at all this year. Russia going into Ukraine & Russia being right next door to Mongolia, makes this year a write off for MATD

Russia being next door, yes, well, Norway and North Korea live next door but one to each other too. I don't think it has any relevance beyond general market jitters.

From the operational update 7 December:

The Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia (MRPAM) and Petro Matad held the first Exploitation Meeting at which it was agreed that the technical details of the benchmarking and pricing of Heron crude should be finalised between the Company and MRPAM by year-end. This will then allow for contract negotiations with potential buyers to begin.

Was this done? If not, some real slippage.

Hoping that I have missed the announcement where this was announced.
