You still can't explain why, as a confessed non-holder, you've hung around for 12 years. It ain't normal behaviour. As for wild speculation, as you unsurprisingly call it, everything I post is either based on facts, or gathering information from many hours of reading and research then presenting that as informed opinion. Whether one calls it 'wild speculation' or 'informed opinion', you may be surprised to learn that is exactly what bulleting boards are for! ;)

I'm still holding a chunk of PET, in fact bought more into dips, but it's a pure gamble. People should Forget PET and it's Woes and diversify, if you're not looking at crypto opportunities your portfolio won't age well. Below is an example of the wild west type prospecting type returns you can get. The link is to the price growth of something I invested in about 3 months ago. They are a UK project 'Phuture Finance'. They aim to become a global index platform (trillion dollar market). At one point the value of my holding was up 900%. I'm actually targetting 10000%. ...and I'm not even joking. You can actually stake the shares equivalent (tokens) with USDC (a dollar equivalent) via an Automated Market maker model (Sushi.com), and earn 170% APY (paid in additional tokens). I have earned between 170-250%APY equivalent on my staked amount for the past 3 months, the liquidity incentive runs until July 2022. This is ON TOP of the price growth. This is the sort of thing people should be looking at, not exploration dinosaurs(!) Honestly, open your eyes to crypto opportunities. The first time I mentioned crypto BTC was $36k, ETH was $1200. Now BTC is $62k and ETH is $4k.... Nothing is up only, but crypto is the new frontier and you need to be aware of the opportunities. Ethereum will flip BTC for market dominance (Market cap) in the coming years. If you're too scared to research, open up a coinbase account, and set a direct debit each month for Ethereum buys. kd accusing someone else of vacuous commentary ! News out in Paris , kd ? He spent years writing hundreds of posts pointing to stuff that was supposed to affect PET's operations... Despite years of such , PET still has zero operations We can all see what posts are vacuous...

Given that PET does nothing, it is quite sensible to discuss other ideas!

Even with infrastructure and rainfall it will still can take at least 15 years as it is hard rock mining. The equipment for processing Cu or Zn is significantly more complex then dealing with gold extraction and it is underground- time will tell. I am aware that Cu is in demand and increasing with green energy.

1t, first time that I have agreed with you, but you have made one assumption that does not hold water. XTR are not competent, and I think they would agree with me, to handle a project of this size. This will be for one of the RTZs of this world. A little bit more information needed and then there is enough evidence to say that racecourse is a world class resource. Just a clue but the shareholder meeting is on Monday afternoon. Companies never orchestrate things? 15 years is S.America by the way. This has the key infrastructure in place and adequate rainfall!

XTR is a bad idea. A couple of holes will not produce a mine and do you know how long even with a major discovery to get a mining license, planning permit and build a mine to production stage to extract cu from values well below 1%- at least 15 years. And it would take years of drilling with good results to prove resources to get close to financing.

Forget Diddy's narrative - it's running a little thin now ;). Instead, here's the kind of news items that OUR bulletin board should be listening too! :) And in further news... - Iraq holds 2nd largest Phosphate reserves in the world...in the Western Desert worth potential $1.4trillion - Czech group (with offices in Iraq) to invest $2billion to rehabilitate and operate existing non-operational Phosphate mines and factories in Western Desert near to Akkas gas field, and make into world-class phosphate mine and fertilizer manufacturing centre - Petrel asked by an 'Iraqi group' to evaluate minerals opportunities that may become economically and legally viable following the expected passage of legislation (Sept Interim statement) - Phosphate is a mineral - Petrel "shareholder base broadened, to prepare for expansion" (Sept Interim statement). [KD translation: getting support from institutional shareholders willing to invest in longer-term, capital intensive projects)

Malcs the narrative is running a little thin now. Just where is the news coming from. Dodgy title in Iraq that frankly was lost years ago, or slightly better title in Ghana but without a brass farthing to try and enforce (and they would still lose). They missed the DD on their last effort with the CP (should have listened to us lot on the BBs). They should not be forgiven for that lapse - and it is difficult to see them squeeze anymore salary out of any city placing. I never want PIs to lose money but AIM would be a better place without the likes of PET and the Clontarf kennel. If you want to recover some of your losses sell and get into XTR (no advice Mixi - just an idea!)

Indeed, but TD has been right about the CP - very disappointed with them. So much for me thinking they would turn PET around. I'm looking at you Mr Fayad! You had so many shareholders on your side and blew it.
