I am surprised that some people invest in highly speculative ventures and then complain when they suffer loss. Bet you wouldn't hear so much if they made loads of dosh. Get real guys. High risk, it always was that. Spread it out, only one high risk needs to come up on top. I'll not be jumping out the frying pan into the fire, I'll take my chances with the team I invested in originally.

Fenners, Iraq was all about telephone number valuations. £0.02325p is about grim reality.

Warren Buffett bought US airlines and lost something like $8bn on them , so he also can pick dogs !

Prevail, prove more powerful than opposing forces: be victorious. Dave is waving his trusty legal sabre against a bunch of disgruntled gamblers waving lolz bleeding hearts and sob stories ...

Fenners.track record of pet as I saw it was every once in a while they had a rise from lows to in the 20s I took a gamble on it happening again and it paid off for me and others have lost which is an unfortunate consequence of the stock exchange which is a glorified pyramid scheme.I was lucky but did put some thought into it and not just stuck a pin in .Watching the outcome with pet will be interesting and I suspect mrH and MrT will prevail

Fenners but they still cannot see that the frying pan is better than the fire, and being in cash is better than being in the frying pan. Crystalising a loss may hurt - we have all been there. I suspect that even Warren Buffet will have bought a dog or two.

Congrats on your profit Bronislav. It seems too many of the gamblers did not know when to stick.

Lippe..I took my profits at between 24 -18 p after buying in at a penny .At the time I posted on the thread that I suspected something in the wings but it was a gamble so I have only a few hundred quid in now at about 3p so I can't really get shafted on pet .

Now La La Land is going full on Deramp... "Harrowing stuff at times (emotionally and/or financially); bitterness as well; hopelessness; life-changing; anger; guilt for lost family/friends investment," Lost gambles rather than investment Who would have thought it ? Now they say PET as it is has no future , no prospects. What ? Surprise ! We have been saying this for >10 years and guess what? No sob stories here....

f31-Thanks for all you unpaid work for the long term shareholders. You should be on the Board and we are now at a stage that 10% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

I can't remember ever siding with the PET directors, but if they choose to ignore the La La Land group , I will certainly understand why. Despite ALL the unanswered questions we have put over the years , to still get posts like "Bronislav 21 Jul '21 - 16:17 - 19629 of 19632 Whether you trust the CP or not at least they communicate. It's not just petrel resources but also other company's where in my opinion shareholders are viewed as a necessary inconvenience.I would like to think the Petrel board are different but actions speak louder than words and in hindsight the answers given at the last agm to questions posed seem at best misleading." "bountyfull 21 Jul '21 - 16:33 - 19630 of 19632 The question for me is what do they have to offer and the only answer I can see is more of the same, which equates to nothing." Is incredible ! However I note the CP mouthpiece has been very selective in his notes.... 41 shareholders voted , 36 sided with them and 'he says' these were 13% What he does not say is 5 did not and these were ....... what %? he thinks maybe 6% Add the directors to the equation and they are already outvoted , let alone the institutions that most likely could not possibly support the notion !

I feel the board have lost their way and taken us with them. We used to get news regularly in the early days but over the years it has dried up as have communications with lth. I hold some other stocks who treat shareholders very similar. I do hold one particular one that us like adults with the newsflow continuous on every move. I hope that Pet board can repair their relations with holders and we all get a good outcome.

Would Rothschild issue a letter of support to a company who didn't come up to scratch? Nah, I doubt it.
