21/6/2021 22:08 | The rats have all got rickets They spit through broken teeth The name of the game is not cricket Caught out on Clontarf Road ... | lippe
21/6/2021 20:36 | I wonder if they know how to use a defibrillator at the Clontarf kennel. | the diddymen
18/6/2021 15:55 | Interesting post Dusseldorf and with high/higher oil prices lets hope PET is an attractive vehicle for another team who can make use of those tax savings. Hanging about for them to get a deal in Iraq is just another 'idea' and we have had far too many of them. | bountyfull
18/6/2021 15:01 | Dusseldorf, that is a good point on tax losses. They do have value albeit that an 'acquirer' would want a discount. That said it is hardly flattering of management that after 25 years of 'trying', the only real value on the BS is the tax recoverable on losses. Rather than honourable failure, perhaps Dave should focus on failure. TD | the diddymen
17/6/2021 11:58 | We have had enough "ideas" The Sage thrown to us over so many years that there gets that point in time that any new "ideas" tend to grate on one's self as just pure guessing and does not have any substance to reality. | 3mio
16/6/2021 10:22 | Hi. I'm just throwing ideas out there. Here's another one. Does Itochu have a London or EU listing? I'd vote yes to them! | the sage
16/6/2021 09:52 | Dougal's going to rape the corpse ... | lippe
16/6/2021 09:24 | The Sage - Isn't the whole thing about RTO's that a) Listing costs are cheaper than full float legals etc.. b) You can use the retained deficit to offset future profits? At 20% that would be worth about €4.6m in tax savings for a profitable venture - though I'm just remembering something explained to me years ago so perhaps not accurate | dusseldorf
16/6/2021 07:02 | Never underestimate the appetite of a bottom feeder ... | lippe
15/6/2021 23:27 | Is there a suggestion the "Pond Life" is promoting the French investors proposal of using "their Euronext company" and "their Russian Asset" for the basis of the RTO? I wonder if anyone has done any due diligence on the *underlying basis* that was used by the French investors to acquire control of the "Euronext company". Presumably the same basis used to gain control of the "Russian Asset"..... There are rumours of some shady business dealings going on..... surely news will come out soon. The Pet board might have finally done something right in dumping the French Investors....better late than never. #not-all-dumping-is- #norwary-take-white- #what-does-baghdad-t #oh-dear | lippe_mk2
15/6/2021 23:09 | Sage says they have had enough of jam tomorrow plans, after 20 years.... could have taken note of what had been said here etc and saved themselves 20 years then..... | fenners66
15/6/2021 22:56 | Douglas "Pond Life" Wright is already mooting the idea of an RTO to the faithful, just so happens he has one in his back pocket, ignorant and stupid is no way to go through lolz life ... | lippe
15/6/2021 19:14 | TCE, I take on board what you say, but if other companies have large enough assets, would they not have their own listing already? What I don't want to hear at the AGM is: We are in discussions with so and so about this or that deal. We've had jam tomorrow promises for more than 20 years. As the collective response has shown, we've had enough! | the sage
15/6/2021 18:38 | JT will only retire if there is a sensible RTO including Iraq DH & JF would also go Whilst I do not discount the CP it is unlikely There are some very decent Oil & Gas people/projects etc.... looking for an AIM listed home! | the chairman elect
15/6/2021 18:28 | I can't believe that debacle still hasn't been sorted yet | blakieboy7
15/6/2021 18:24 | That's good to hear f31. I hope they sort something with the CP, that has to be quickest route forward. It would also facilitate John's retirement. Were the extra 4 million plus shares from the CP added to the total? | the sage
15/6/2021 18:06 | Better use of a DearJohn letter The Origami Hat is a great model to make, because it's so simple and fun to wear afterwards! 1. Start with a rectangular piece of paper, white side up. Fold the paper in half and open. 2. Now fold the top down to the bottom edge. Crease well. 3. Fold the top corners down to the centre line. 4. Fold the bottom edge (uppermost layer only) up to the base of the triangles. 5. Fold this part up once again, and crease well. 6. Turn model over, and repeat step 4 & 5 on the other side. 7. Open out the hat to shape it,Your hat is now ready to wear. | lippe
15/6/2021 17:40 | Just to let you know that David Horgan confirmed this afternoon that they have received the letter. That was all that was in the message, so I guess it will be a waiting game from here on when/how they will come back. We'll have to give them some time now to decide what to do with it, although we ourselves will also need time for a possible reaction to their response, when it comes. I will let you know when anything further comes back | f31
15/6/2021 09:10 | lippe....... Lolz Lolz Lolz ! | exile
15/6/2021 07:24 | After two decades of abject contempt for shareholders it's risible to think that a lolz Dear John is going to change matters ... | lippe |
