06/2/2013 10:59 | I agree there has to be to this than a broker report. They have a habbit of issuing RNS's at any time so of the day so my advice is to keep 'em peeled! SBT | superbobtaylor
06/2/2013 10:56 | Sorry aleoap...I didn't notice you'd already mentioned the Faraday report! Hopefully today's share price rise will help to raise the profile of the company. | jewellsrimet
06/2/2013 10:51 | Seems quite a big rise (!) purely on a broker's recommendation. The company does look undervalued but there were placings at much higher prices than this so quite a few people are still well out of pocket. | timgw
06/2/2013 10:38 | Yes the infrastructure is nowgetting there and it looks like they have got over the teething problems / have recruited some decent people to sort it out. I would assume they will get to 2mtpa at some point this year. If the exploraiton hits a decent strike then everything is now in place to deliver significant amounts of gold to market quickly. SBT | superbobtaylor
06/2/2013 10:24 | Thanks jewells, my valuation would be much higher, but that is subject to the company hitting it's targets with production at 50k oz pa, successful drill results and Raub resource update being better than expected. The legal case is no longer hampering investment and they do need to start promoting the company through research notes/interviews etc.. | aleoap
06/2/2013 10:16 | Recommended by Faraday Research today. Excellent value in this company. I can't post the write up because it is a subscribed service but they did say that "a valuation of 40p wouldn't look stretched". | jewellsrimet
06/2/2013 09:56 | A few things to look forward to this quarter in last results: 'Additional improvements currently being implemented are expected to give a further improvement during CYQ1 2013' 'At Raub a number of new drilling targets below the oxide zone have been identified and these will be drilled in Calendar Year ("CY") Q1 2013.' | aleoap

06/2/2013 09:48 | Well this is a welcome surprise. Couple more days like this and I may get my money back! | superbobtaylor
06/2/2013 09:22 | Taken from another site 'Faraday Research have just posted a buy recommendation citing many positives with huge upside potential and undervalued price being the main two. You were certainly right on cheapness! There are many followers of Faraday so I don't think you will be lonely anymore!' | aleoap
06/2/2013 09:09 | Insiders getting in..news due? | aleoap
30/11/2012 12:05 | I thought results were very good. Nothing concrete re. 2mtpa apart from some waffle about the front end but they do appear to be getting a grip on things operationally. Wonder if they can go a year without borrowing even more cash! They need to be paying this debt down and then they could think about paying divi...... SBT | superbobtaylor
30/11/2012 11:42 | aleoap - I have had a good look at the annual report and accounts but can't see an answer to your question! Results look generally quite OK though with a significantly improved profit. Pity about the share price. | timgw
25/11/2012 21:00 | 24,000oz pa is still not to be sniffed at however investors were under the belief that double this was possible. Still, its a profitable business and with au price getting ready to launch forward again they are in a good position. We need to know what is stopping the plant from running at its optimised rate, PGL if your reading this, detail in results please. | aleoap

23/11/2012 12:33 | fmot55 ha ha ha, cheered me up that little rib tickler. Perhaps the fact that they have missed every target ever set by miles. Even now no explanation as to why the plant is running at 1.1mtpa and not the upgrade value of 2mtpa. I only hold as my investment has lost so much no point in selling and they do, finally, appear to be making some progress. SBT | superbobtaylor
22/11/2012 18:41 | sporazene2 what evidence do you have?Personally I know you are wide of the the mark and I have invested again today. | fmot55

22/11/2012 10:53 | Hello, I'm new here. I have just a few thousand shares in this outfit curently at a 50% loss! The fundamentals look rather better than the share price which is perhaps a good sign. I must do some arithmetic and see what percentage of the shares are actually available for regular trading. (edit: shareholders with more than 3% account for 60% of share capital according to companies website) With companies this size volume seems to be a stronger driver of a share price. I'm more worried about dodgy deals with HMB this week!! | timgw
21/11/2012 10:31 | 18,100 ounces for the year to 30 June, 2012 giving a revenue figure for the year of £18.7m. (last 2 querters will give 24oz next year) So a realised price of $1645 / oz. If PGL costs are $1000oz then we should see an operating profit of £7.35M. Not bad for a company valued at £17.20M. | superbobtaylor
05/10/2012 16:56 | Last post today, just going back to your production update question, yes we should have one very soon. We are missing data for May, June, July, August & September. May and June we have been told will not be great due to maintenance/improvem | aleoap
05/10/2012 16:53 | Regarding the debt Andrew Kam has put forward some of his own property I believe as a charge or something along those lines, basically he is personally guaranteeing the loan. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that. I've worked out in the past that 52,500 oz pa is very achievable once the plant is optimised, giving approx $90 million in revenues pa at $1700 per oz. Cash costs previously were around $600 per oz I believe although I expect this to be significantly higher now maybe around $900. Obviously I expect higher gold prices to come which is why I am here and the future profit potential looks very good for a company with a mcap of around £16m. And it's not in Kazachstan or some other dodgy place, the legal system and tax system are very attractive in Malaysia. Andrew Kam rightly made the decision not to hedge and is sticking with that as far as I know. I've watched this go all the way down to 13/14p odd, and I now intend to watch it go back up. Am hoping for three figures share price at some point in the future. I have built up a substantial position over the last 18 months or so and am comfortable holding long term. | aleoap
05/10/2012 15:45 | Surprised at the amount of debt but the stock seems to be back above 50 day MA | scientologyweirdo |
