Gati Al-Jebouri, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board said:

"The extensive drilling programme was carried out during a difficult period with significant limitations due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The Minto team have done an excellent job to complete the 2019/20 drilling programme on budget and with a limited delay that was mainly due to the challenges of getting core samples to laboratories for testing and assay production. I am grateful to the Minto team and in particular to the geologists for executing this task efficiently. The initial results, that Minto is continuing to process, and I trust will enable them to produce a PEA by Q2 encourage me to believe that the Minto project has significant potential for mine life extension and value creation. I am looking forward to reviewing the PEA, which should show the true value of Minto."

Yep, mm's seem happy to let it go now, was a few biggish sales today but matched with buys.

Was that a breakout today or recent high and uptrend ?

Seems the thought process they have done their funding now so no more placings is driving this on, despite some big sales at 5.6p level it's NT to buy at 6p and clearly heading to 6.5p offer any time

All Minto specific as usual and not an inkling of anything coming PERE's way. But as Gati has already said no cashflow for the company until 22 so we must assume the increase in copper price has not changed that.

"This has been a quarter of continuing development at the Minto mine, having started active production from the Copper Keel area and development in Copper Keel West area. The lower volume of concentrate produced in Q4 compared to Q3 was expected and is due to the processing of slightly lower grade ore in Q4 (1.07%) compared to Q3 (1.09%) which, as explained in the Q3 Operation Update, is due to including the final commercially viable tonnes from the Minto East ore body as well as the impact of start up production from Copper Keel area. I am pleased to note that, for the whole of 2020, Minto produced 24,646 wet metric tonnes of concentrate and production is expected to be above this level for 2021."

It's not bad Baz, wether it's good enough to get people interested either.

Online is 5.2-5.98p, stronger now than before the placing, spread puts off the traders so we are seeing little volume atm

Strange it's 4.655-5.4p

4p placing and atm all they offer for is 5.4p, it was 5.25p but there was a 90k+
buy at that price.

Look at AYM around 8p now

4 months ago they did a placing at 1.6p, it's not stopped them

Anglesey Mining plc is pleased to announce that it has today entered into a
placing agreement to issue 12,500,000 new ordinary shares, representing
approximately 6.7% of the company's current issued share capital, at 1.6 pence
per share in in a private placing, to raise a total of GBP200,000 gross. Incoming
Investors will also receive a warrant with a term of 12 months to subscribe for
new ordinary shares at an exercise price of 1.8p for each new share issued
under this placing.

Just a word to the wise Dave. These lot are nimpties.
Fully funded you say but they also say they are looking for new projects which will need funding once and if they get them.
I say if because they have been looking for a long time and now will have to be paying much more for any decent ground.

Yeah but a counter argument is they are fully funded now.

I see people use that line all over the place to ramp their resource stocks.

And copper is just going to go higher and higher.

Directors have took a big chunk of the placing so I'd not be too hasty and give up and sell at the lower price this morning.

Well given that the gaffer is on record as saying there will be no cashflow from Minto until 22 it shouldn't be a surprise.

4p placing, guessing it could be worse when price was 4.7p bid start of the week.

But I wish I backed off buying more yesterday at 5.31p..hey ho it was a medium term hold anyway for double figures, so once they flip the placing stock it should do well

When you look around and see so many stocks at rock bottom prices 5-40 fold in the last 12 months anything is possible bazz.

I was researching this back in time and while it feels like 10 years ago it was only 30 months ago this raised a stack of money at 50p a share to buy the Minto plant.

Now I'm pretty sure if Copper was soaring then the price would have been doing the same so perhaps once it gets going it just might be the next resource flyer. There copper explorers flying and they are years away from ever getting any stuff out of the ground.

I'm quite positive, like all stocks now it takes quite a sentiment swing to get the herd involved and start a serious upside, it's still very much unloved with a seller although they might have ran out if the 230k was them.

You have had a result, the mm's were either asleep or happy to sell down their lines of stock below 5.5p

Given the price of copper it's nuts that a copper producer who now has said it's going to save more money and have improve operational performance is a £4 mil cap.

Wake me up when it's a £8-10 mil cap 10-12p
