dreaming..... - ATMs been pulled out quicker than Lewis Hamilton.... as for new ATMs - with what team are they going to use to find / install the sites??? T U its gone!

Reading the Irish piece as suggested here - Nagle and Williamson proposing a different refinace strategy and returning to the core etc etc - You could not make this up.

So

By the end of 2009 I think that the old Alphyra will be new Payzone. Old Payzone will be split when Nagle gets it back and MMills will buy back Cardpoint for a £ or two - Situation Normal, timewarp 2006

The claim is for 10% of market cap, suerly that needs to be mentioned. I wonder if it get's brought up at the AGM tomorrow. Not sure I'd like to be on the top table. Still, Peter Smith now on £125000 a year so you wouldn't mind a bit of grief for that. Fred the Shred will be on the board next. :-)

has anyone seen the statement about the press comment? (Welcome break) How does that not material to the company. If Welcome Break win (which I should imagine they will) will cost the company a fair few pennies.

Deal ended 31st December - as from the Pic - ATM is operated by Bank Machine now at the Welcome Break site. I believe this went legal when the contract was lost and any goodwill between the parties was lost.

Nasty hit £700k to half year results!

Nice to see nothing has changed since Payzone took over!!!! Glad I went when the Blackpool office was closed. All they were bothered about then was taking out bad ATMS, but didn't seem to be finding new sites or signing companies like Welcome Break.

Sales Director needs sacking for a start!!!!

Burger Boy - they are heading that way... The ATM operated by Payzone close to me, which I always have a look at when visiting the premises was charging £1.85 3 months ago and after three price increases since then is now charging £1.94!!

£1.94 how do you get to that surcharge fee? Are you not brave enough to put the charge at £2.00 and things must be bad to increase the surcharge rate on a monthly basis. Had a word with the manager at the site and he said he is not getting any increase in his commission and also mentioned that he had not been paid his commission for two months - always been paid the last week of the month for the last six years........ does say a lot about cashflow position? Guy at the garage said he wants ATM out - Alliance and Leicester will replace it with a free ATM for no cost.

Also heard on the inside gossip from within Payzone that they have not installed a fully managed ATM this financial year and all they are doing is removing lost contracts ATMs and storing them in warehouses. The sales team which was in double figures a year or so ago is now down to one. One person selling ATMs covering the whole of the UK - good service there!

Administration before the summer is my bet. Another one for loss relief on the Tax Return.

next move will be interesting. how About wack the surcharge up to £2.50? maybe that will work,,,,
