So PAYS bought Skrill from CVC. Now CVC want the lot back.
Funny old world.

Tempted to top-up! If the shorter isn't linked to the BR crowd, and isn't covered by a matching long, then I hope they are really enjoying the ride!

This is what private equity does - incentivise management massively to run the company for its new owners once they have stitched up public investors by delivering the company cheaply. Seen it many times. Just say no!

Hello Mr Wolfie

I knew you were smelling blood, hence why I doubled down at 520p.

Good Luck all genuine holder

As last month's MI said 'hanging on to it for dear life'..... (and a significantly higher price - largest wallet provider after Paypal, another positive acqn, US online gambling potentially opening up, strong Y-O-Y revenue growth anticipated for a number of years, etc, etc)

I'll wait for SCSW's view should be out next week. Based on their previous analysis this offer looks very low, hope we at least get a rival bidder. Something over £7 would tempt me.

PAYS was a SCSW nap in 2015 @£3.59

I've held (and add subsequently) since the old Neteller days more than 10 years ago

I will vote a big NO. :o/
We would have achived 590 soon anyway.Take it private and float it in a few years at £10 a Share. They are trying to steal a golden goose from us.
No,no,no.

Like many I usually sell half on a bid but this seems cheap under £7, anyone selling?

Silence as we all decide whether to take a quick profit! Personally would expect this to go way over £6 next week

Not many O trades so PI's not interested. Just the usual bot activity but at a slightly higher level. Just sit tight on this one.Might put a floor under it though.

Reckon these shorter's had some sort of a tie-in with BR? Try to hold the price down while we buy PAYS on the cheap!

Another day on the LSE, another growth company subject to a bid on the cheap... I didn't like the way the announcement said:

The terms of the Possible Offer represent a premium of approximately 34% to the volume weighted average price for the six month period ended 30 June 2017, the day prior to broad sector consolidation speculation.

That very much flatters the offer - 590p is the lowest number one could currently put forward with a straight face. It was heading for 590p pretty soon anyway, it is only below that due to the tail end of the last short-a-thon, and there has been broad sector consolidation speculation pretty much solidly for the last decade.

Hope we'll get £10 in a couple of years and £20 in 5 unless we hand that to Blackrock & their pals...

DYOR IMHO

isn't the offer a p/e of under 15 for 2018 numbers? DYOR...before the deal and any earnings upgrades? Also how many beasts like this available? Reckon Blackrock need to sharpen their pencil somewhat IMO DYOR

Either a counter bidder will emerge or the price reflects the structural fragility of PAYS customer base ?
