Surely the acquisition announced to day changes the valuation dramatically? The 590p offer was touted well before this event.

Very interesting a third party is buying the Asia gateway so this knocks that untruth from the shorts completely on the head.

So far a 10% shareholder fund is backing it, but surely other investors will hang on for more

Looks to me pays not recommending....interesting the acquisition takes Asia merchant down to less than 10%. Suspect this will be higher than offer price by Monday. Pennsylvania looks like bodging something together this weekend also

No, not even remotely close!!! Needs to be closer to £7.50 to £8.00 as an absolute minimum. Try to bring forward TU, we would be up to £6 anyway.

Whilst I think we all understand that if PAYS makes an acqn then the current discount to peers is likely to be eroded due to diversification of revenue sources

On the flip side the same benefit would apply to any acquiror of PAYS.....hot property in a consolidating industry

A cynic may say the Chinese govt would first cut off its citizens from online gambling and, once they were suffering from withdrawal symptoms, introduce a state sponsored version with appropriately increased fees!

Malcolmmm....you well be right but I think SCH ii's were spooked by the :although the revenue growth to maturity from these long-term Tier 1 clients is taking slightly longer than anticipated.......The Board remains confident that the outcome for the year will be broadly in line with market expectations.'Broadly' in line could mean anything but it certainly isn't wildly encouraging!Back to PAYS ..... despite EH9's frequent predictions I do feel that Pennsylvania is going pass some form of online gambling bill reasonably soon - It seems the House, The Senate and the Governor are all agreed they need the revenue. The sticking point within the bill is the VGT issue and, more broadly, the whole Budget issue of raising recurring revenue without raising taxes, which it seems the GOP is determined to push - this being totally at variance with the Governor's stance. Let's hope they can reach a compromise .It would certainly be nice to get some of that US cash into our coffers before we face the prospect of losing a good portion of our China gambling revenue if the proposed VPN ban comes in next February.

Yet more thoughts on stupidity.
They have borrowed 1.5billion say at 8%, this means interest of 120mill per year.
Bamboozled revs of 202mill, industry has an EBITDA of circa 30% so this means EBITDA of 60mill.

"You are paying 120mill to get 60mill." F me Joel needs to get this bloke on speed dial quick sharp. Good old socialist France.

SCH share price went down today on good results. The Naked Trader thinks that they are even a bigger bid bargain than PAYS.Bought some this morning for that reason.

Just to highlight the point. The EPS of PAYS went from 7p to 22p after the Skrill deal and that was with the rights issue as well dramatically increasing the number of shares. Also it is forecast to be 36p this year.
