29/7/2019 19:48 | Looks just like that to me also. | fardels bear
29/7/2019 18:59 | Aberdeen is morphing into a global enrgy hub, O/G declining but not finishing yet, renewables, carbon capture, PMG are split into 4 divisions in order to capitslise on this. Interesting trades, looks like offshore guys chucking in £5k ahead of the announcement. | chutes01
29/7/2019 12:10 | Regarding the loan, with a little digging, it seems TC & his wife lent the company (Energy Management Associates Ltd - EMAL) some £8m+ of their own money (from 2016 accounts), with no set repayment terms or interest payable. They are still (as at end May 2018 anyway) lending it £3.6m. There are also smaller intercompany loans to their other related companies also - Tilestamp (£2m owed to EMAL), Octagon Property Development (£454K owed to EMAL) and Obsidian Resources (Directors TC, LC + Ryan Strougler - £420K owed to EMAL): hxxp://www.obsidianr Marjorie Crockford is also a shareholder of EMAL - and appears to be a shareholder also connected to Altair Construction over whom EMAL have a charge: hxxps://www.datascot From which you can find that Linda Cross used to be called Linda Crockford - so presumably a family connection of some sort. Anyway, not much closer to understanding what the renewable energy angle might be. Looks more like commercial construction companies to me. | robs12
29/7/2019 12:01 | The way this usually trades it wouldn't surprise me to see 70p. | mallorca 9
29/7/2019 10:22 | Then 20k bought @ 53.94, followed by 40k @ 54p....all very interesting.... to me at least, as volume is always the key to share price movements. | skyship
29/7/2019 10:22 | Smells like a leak to me. All those Scott platform boys ringing up their rellies. Psst! Buy PMG and keep schtum. | fardels bear
29/7/2019 08:57 | Off you pop, then. As you said, you are out. We aren't. Or are you another come to warn us of our folly? | fardels bear
29/7/2019 08:16 | Same buying pattern from Friday We shall see | chutes01
29/7/2019 08:12 | A rather bizarre run of small buys this morning - all in odd amounts. Was there perhaps a mention in the press over the weekend... | skyship
28/7/2019 23:59 | wedge on again, 65p soon | chutes01
27/7/2019 09:17 | I'm sure Tom is working hard on GPA and Platypus, hw will need some solid cash flow to fund any speculative ventures.Battery technology with an academic tie up could be interesting,But an offshore wind venture linked to GPA perhaps more likely?.Always the possibility of a complete surprise coming to give some excitement...that's what AIM is about. | fhmktg
26/7/2019 22:22 | It does seem a tad over generous but at some point Tom is going to do us an Andy Austin and then we simply won't care. | fardels bear
26/7/2019 21:17 | The interest rate does seen a tad generous especially if unsecured. Could do with some decent newsflow here and unfortunately that wasn't it. "Parkmead benefits from an exclusive arrangement to join EMAL in new ventures being evaluated by the Company"Surely it's the other way around in that EMAL benefits from a cheap loan? Or have I missed something? I do have a holding here but this loan arrangement does seem a little unethical to me on the face of it although happy to be corrected. Future newsflow I expect to be a lot better which is the reason I'm still here. | bountyhunter
26/7/2019 19:55 | You a free to leave the party any time you like. | fardels bear
26/7/2019 19:38 | You couldn't make it up …. an RNS finally arrives and he's extending the £3m loan to his wife's business - to which he is also a Director. Is this loan secured ? What if his other firm goes bust ? Where is Tom really focusing his time ? | mallorca 9
26/7/2019 16:36 | An RNS!!! "The Parkmead Group plc is pleased to announce the 24-month extension of the interest-bearing loan to Energy Management Associates Limited ("EMAL") of £2.9 million (the "Loan"). By providing this facility, Parkmead benefits from an exclusive arrangement to join EMAL in new ventures being evaluated by the Company, including inter alia potential opportunities relating to renewable energies. The Loan will continue to bear a fixed interest rate of 2.5 per cent per annum, payable to Parkmead. The entry by the Company into the Loan extension with EMAL, in which Tom Cross is a director and shareholder, is a related party transaction for the purposes of Rule 13 of the AIM Rules. The Directors (other than Tom Cross), having consulted with Arden, consider that such arrangements with EMAL are fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned." A bit dull, but maybe there's something happening with the renewables..? | robs12
26/7/2019 14:04 | I'll top up here with the funds returned by AEY. | fardels bear
26/7/2019 12:16 | Tournesol - no investment advice offered or intended, but yes ;-) I just bought some more today...now very overweight! I guess some will have seen the IOG deal this morning with CalEnergy (a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway) taking a 50% stake in their SNS hub/pipeline. Note that CalEnergy also have a 15% stake in Platypus (as does PMG), and a 20% stake in Skerryvore and Ruvall in the CNS (where PMG have 30% & are operator), so they are close, if not good chums. I wonder if they will have a hand in the GPA? | robs12
26/7/2019 11:25 | Looking at the chart, 50p looks like a pretty good support level - is this a good time to buy/top up? | tournesol
26/7/2019 08:39 | Man the lifeboats Mr Bowson.... Not you tubby | francoismyname |
