The Company is also pleased to announce that a site survey has begun at the Parkmead operated Skerryvore oil prospect. Skerryvore was awarded to Parkmead under the UKCS 27th Licensing Round and is located in the Central North Sea. It consists of two stacked prospects at Palaeocene and Chalk level. The Skerryvore Palaeocene prospect is thought to be a southerly extension of the Talbot oil discovery to the north, and the deeper Skerryvore Chalk prospect shows a similar seismic response to the neighbouring Cawdor discovery. Parkmead owns a 30.5 per cent. stake in the Skerryvore area. The survey will provide detailed technical information on the Skerryvore site ahead of the prospect being drilled in 2015. The Skerryvore prospect has the potential to contain up to 122 million barrels of recoverable oil on a most likely, P50 basis.


They were going to drill Skerryvore a long time ago but it never happened, not sure what is different now, just the oil price perhaps?

Got my last 1/3rd in @ 61.6p.

IMO what we may have seen today was a string of stoploss sales after late entries in the run up to 73.5p.

Whatever, a good opportunity.

Fardels .... I'm long over 350k of these so no it doesn't suit if they drift back to 55. I am however correct ... they will be 55 again before they're 75 watch and see ...

As per my Post No.8272 above, IMO they are now a BUY again, so for good or ill have taken 2/3rds of my last position at an average of 63.5p...

Drifts now until news imo. Probably trade 55/65 now as opposed to 50/60 ... although I'd u believe Chutes there's major news next week or maybe week after .. no next month, or month after .. lol

The MACD indicator suggests further weakness back to the 63p level. Finger on the button should such a retracement occur:
