26/5/2002 14:45 | TD, You can't blame people for being a bit peeved. Those that bought at 7p and above are never going to get thier money back. Many small investors voted against all the company changes, but we make no difference to these things so we can be safely ignored. (look at Jus, TGR and many others). The comments on the bb's make no real difference to the price but to enable PI's to vent those feelings of being shafted. On the plus side this company will make money as the managment are not that bad if you want to see how bad some directors are read the TGR BB. Those poor people have not only been shafted they have the poorest management team a PLC could have. My personal feeling is the price on consolidation was forced on the management and they did not have a lot of say in it. I think they payed over the odds for Park Row and the city knew this. all IMHO of course. Luck to all. | neil harvey
26/5/2002 13:25 | Most shareholders are in the same boat. Luckily, I only started buying last year @ 1.3p and have an average of 0.9p (or 90p @ the new price). I too have little faith in the management’s ability or ethics but to constantly say it does not help. (I voted against all items regarding company changes and retaining the directors that were up for re-election). Park Row is supposed to be involved in a sector that will make good profits and if that is the case these shares will see a substantial increase in value. Right now the main thing that holds these shares back is large numbers of peed off shareholders, (I am one of them). Writing negative comments, keeping the bad feeling alive and adding to the mood of gloom only depresses the share price and prevents it from increasing. Regards, TD | the diviner
25/5/2002 16:07 | Shonal - I am in the same boat despite averaging down from my initial 6p. purchase. As Neil says in posting 58 it is outright theft - no wonder the powers that be are keeping their heads down. | mitty
25/5/2002 09:07 | Ive just decided to stick my head out and look at PWP since they changed over from Birchin (been a holder in birchin since I bought at 7p). Wished I hadnt bothered. Looking at the trades, theres a lot of small sells, the small investor has really been shafted eh. My £300 investment is worth didly squat, and not worth the selling cos the money Id get back wouldnt even cover the buying/selling fees. | shonai
24/5/2002 23:31 | Whats even more sickening is the theft of 40% of your money when the consolidation took place. | neil harvey
24/5/2002 09:36 | David - I know, it's sickening isn't it. | mitty
24/5/2002 09:26 | I bought 121,600 shares over the last two years @ (average) 5.1p = £6,100 I now have 1,216 @ £5.25 = £638 Is this robbery or what! The people who run this company want sacking They will need to reach £50.00 for me to recoup initial investment (I though these sort of scams only ocurred in crooked ofshore rackets) | david.susies

18/5/2002 16:07 | Guitar man, Ive not much use for this piece of paper (I think it has the name Birchin International on it, looks like some kind of cert!, you can have mine if you like). | shonai
18/5/2002 15:02 | Not sure Guitar Man, would like out but how does one go about it, never been brave enough for this shorting lark!!! Call me chicken if you like! Tell you what though, there is another stock which I along with hundreds of others would like out of and that is MDC, if you think the board of PWP is bad (which it is) they are saints compared to those at the top of MDC. | mitty
17/5/2002 23:39 | I am also holding at 8p from two years back. I can not believe the arrogance of this co. I intend to get my deosh back via the back door while the going is good. In other words, I intend to short the hell out of this share. Anyone else interested. We could act together. This is a low volume stock so it would not take much to short it down. TD Waterhouse now allow shorting!!!!!! Anyone up for it then. | guitar man
17/5/2002 19:44 | Apologies in advance for making niaive comments but if the price is going to slide down to 1p why can't they reconstruct the share price at 1p, issuing 50 or say shares for each one currently held at 50p before the inevitable happens? I could be just talking rubbich, though. | andi123
17/5/2002 00:58 | That is pretty shabby treatment of a loyal shareholder. Have you noticed how he goes on about the shareholders when he writes his reports, always so aware of what is best for his shareholders, and shareholders value etc.etc. ..... When it really boils down to it he can't even be bothered to acknowledge the basic curtesy's. Now at least we know where we really stand with dear Mr. Gardner. | mitty
16/5/2002 13:02 | can you put out the e-mail address on this board so we can all send him a e-mail | negus1
16/5/2002 11:53 | I e-mailed Gardner 3 days ago, saying that I had been a loyal and supportive shareholder for over 2 years, but my patience has finally run out. So has my money, down over 80% in that time (no small holding, either). Did he have any words of re-assurance?? Not a flipping word since. He is probably sitting on some beach in the Bahamas laughing his socks off. Now why would anyone wear socks on a beach in the Bahamas, unless they we a wierdo? | gorwel
16/5/2002 08:20 | Jackie1 - Out of BIR/PWP and into MONI, 21k how bad do you feel now? Try research! | jayone
16/5/2002 00:10 | Jackie1, I'm glad you bailed in time. | stocktrader
16/5/2002 00:00 | Nope, 1p then a mass consolidation, its the only way to get back the high losses. | enewman36
15/5/2002 17:44 | News Flash Park Row rising, the doctor prescribes Viagra!! | kazer
15/5/2002 16:17 | buys out number sells for the first time i think | negus1
15/5/2002 15:29 | I'll be dead and buried by the time this company makes a profit, let alone pay a divi. | stocktrader |
