They popped back into my mind when the news of Penna FD being brought in as non-exec was released. Given Penna were bought out, some hopes lay on that scenario - perhaps 1 - 2 years down the line, but could be at a multiple.

I've been watching for a few years, thought I'd missed the boat with last years rise, but happy to get in at these levels.

abarclay - I'm in with the 24,000 as a first purchase, I had to pay over Ask at the time (7.75 paid, vs. 7.5 online). It looks ripe for takeover, or natural return to profit H1 (IMO).

I like the reducing overheads, return to focus on core ops and recent stock accumulation.

super, I know he runs an investment arm but surely this is too large a stake merely as a portfolio position? And he has been increasing his stake relentlessly since the tail-end of last year.

kemche - I was using the term in the loosest possible way, you understand ;¬)

They're obviously in similar businesses, and I guess have known each other for years, if not decades. Both masons? ;¬))

Who knows, but 8% seems like quite a percentage as part of a normal balanced portfolio...
