Just pointing that out should anyone out there be trying to twist the truth to mislead others.

"Everyone who signs up will be treated pari passu with one another in terms of entitlement to damages after costs."

yes. I understand that to mean that if (hypothetically) the CA comprised 8 members who had each lost £100k and 4 members who had each lost £50k, and sued Northland for £1m, and if (again hypothetically) Northland settled for 100% of losses, CL would take 30% (or £300k), so each £100k plaintiff would get back £70k and each £50k plaintiff would get back £35k. Of course we now have way above £1m and the amounts lost by investors wildly varies, but I believe the principle is the same.

Of course it's very unlikely Northland will settle for 100% - I've chosen numbers to make the example easy.

Just saying from the guys themselves.

"Everyone who signs up will be treated pari passu with one another in terms of entitlement to damages after costs."

"On a general note, there is really no reason for ANY investor NOT to get involved, as it is going to be entirely "no win, no fee"."

Good year 1976. Really hot endless summer. Ah those were the days. Bring back Showaddywaddy and David Soul I say!

Nappies to iron and shirts to change. Don't envy you there. Knock myself out an a fiver......................I'll try but that would be 1976 prices for me to do that.

Hi Lama
I see you have far too much time on your hands.
Pop in to my place, have some shirts to iron and nappies to change, which will be better use of your time and skills. Meanwhile let CS & S1 to carry on, trying to get our monies back , so maybe someday, when all shirts will be ironed and nappies changed, you will get fiver from me so you could knock yourself out .

What's the matter, lama_brain? Feeling left out?

You're welcome to join - unless of course you're Bryan or Barry...

Lama Rail, I can confirm that what Clubbie says is true.

Yeah, course your at £1.375m. We believe you. Youve gone from "please, please, please join us" to "we dont care, we have enough already but if you perhaps maybe want to join us then, oh go one well let you in". Good tactics of course. Cant knock you for that. One of those could work.

BTW, it seems that we are now up to £1.375m of s'holder losses following my emails of the weekend (with a few numbers still to come in). That's more momentum we have, and less quantum for any second class action.

I've put a hell of a lot of time and effort into this, and if the class action does fail it won't be for want of trying. All shareholders - except Bryan and possibly Barry - are welcome, and I'm more than happy (except in those cases) to let bygones be bygones. Anyone else who wants to join can - and if they don't then that's their choice, but they can never claim they weren't given the chance.

Not that it really matters who it is.

hard to figure what his game is, really. I reckon he's a PDLNer, obviously doesn't like me - so if he's not Bryan then Barry would be my guess: the man who was a member of the CA for all of a day, flounced off (with a few barbed arrows in my direction) when he found out I had initiated it, knows he cannot rejoin, and now stands to lose all of his £50k investment because he's stupid enough to let personality get in the way of sound common sense...

CS - agreed. I guess we shouldn't be surprised that LR will be the last one to realise this....

the class action cannot now be derailed (no pun intended). It can *fail* - CL might not take the case, or the funding application might not succeed, or our case might not be strong enough to succeed against Northland - but there's not a thing lama_brain can do to affect any of those outcomes...

Lama - Seems to me you're sounding increasingly desperate in your attempts to de(lama)rail the CA. I think it's gone beyond that now, and Clubbie has filtered you so even 'clubbie-baiting' is off the cards. Might be time to move on?

Does anyone have Bryans phone number? I'd love to ring him and congratulate him. CS hates him. What did the guy do to him, does anyone know? It can't be just words. Something else has happened there. Were they once a couple? Maybe theyre both a couple of gardeners? Someones trowels been bent in the break up.

I have lama blocked, but from your reply I'm guessing he was quoting from my mail of yesterday - so on the old SAG emailing list...

Just ignore him super - if he wants to hang on and see whether Manduca delivers (hint: he won't) or there is a second class action then fine, let him. If a second CA happens at all it won't be until at least 2019 - probably much later - and even if it succeeds they'll get a much reduced payout (the first CA having taken the largest slice of the pie) - if indeed we haven't bankrupted Northland with a first CA, if it's successful.

I'm happy for anyone except Bryan to join the CA - but if people don't want to then fine, that's on them, and they can never say they didn't have the opportunity. Hopefully by this time next year the class action will be done, and of course I hope it will be a success. Once that has happened win or lose - and assuming of course I like any settlement, and unless we then decide to start an action against Manduca - I stop caring.

The point is IF it goes forward and settles out of court it sets no precedent.

The 2nd pint is there be nothing left to go after.

3rd Point. Who is going to run it and back it.

I see the liar is back (filtered long ago) funny how is avatar seems similar and possibly a part anagram of one of Vince's mates.

Or perhaps its because the more people he gets on board then the more money he gets personally if he wins. Not going to leave a lot for those looking for recompense is it. CS has everyones interest at heart. Thats another altruistic one.

Sounds like someone doesnt have enough people for his CA to me. We've had Superg begging (and of course he doesnt have any shares in PRG yeah right, we believe you Mr Altruistic)for more people and now weve got CS begging. They so dont need anyone else do they? We believe you dont we children? Did you know that gullible is the only word not in the Oxford English dictionary?

"I understand the details of saying one thing and doing another is becoming apparent now on such 'friends'. They have been highly misled by their own."

yes - anyone who gives Bryan any credibility whatsoever now, following the revelation that he enquired about the CA on 1st August, was roundly rejected, then railed against it (and me!) and tried to persuade PDLN members to hang on for a second CA on 13th August *without mentioning that he had enquired and been knocked back* is gullible beyond belief. Clearly a second CA suits Bryan - him having been excluded from the first - but I'm not so sure it suits anyone else in the PDLN...

re

"Super, I really don't know why you bother - anyone that still believes Manduca and his mouthpiece Bryan at this late stage is beyond saving and they deserve everything they get."

That's the short version of what I meant but I wanted them to clearly understand the implications instead of listening to unqualified and highly biased 'friends'.

I understand the details of saying one thing and doing another is becoming apparent now on such 'friends'. They have been highly misled by their own.

I did say the LN group were completely stupid to think it would be kept within.

I know as I've known what has been going on in highly secret meetings before the participants take the first sip of coffee having just left such a meeting.
