Of all the small cap miners on LSE, panther is the one I have the most confidence of developing, maturing and becoming a respectable mining company.

Bullish for Nickel going forwardAccording to the Australian Government's Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER), global nickel production in 2020 suffered due to multiple mine closures and disrupted production due to the pandemic's lockdown effect, and the total mined nickel of 2.4 million tonnes was down 12% compared to 2019.Going forward, growth is expected to be driven by returning economic activity and growing markets for nickel used in batteries. The surplus of nickel is expected to narrow in 2021, with the market likely reaching a deficit by 2023, and by 2026 world consumption is forecast to be 3.2 million tonnes, increasing by an average 6% a year.

Hi DIG3Y we don't know. We are supposed to be keeping a substantial holding, whatever that is, but it is a secret known only to the company at the moment. I would be very disappointed if we didn't hang on to at least 30%.

PANTHER METALS PLC (Incorporated in the Isle of Man with company number 009753V) 7(th) June 2021 Further Tenement Acquisitions at Red Flag Nickel-Cobalt Project Panther Metals PLC (LSE:PALM) the company focused on mineral exploration in Canada and Australia, is pleased to announce the application for two further exploration tenements, E39/2249 and E39/2250 , as part of an expansion program for our Red Flag Nickel-Cobalt Project. Situated in the prolific nickel-cobalt belt 25km west of Laverton, the Red Flag project lies between the historic Windarra South mine and the Glencore owned Murrin Murrin nickel cobalt plant, that last year reported production of 36,400 tonnes of nickel and 2,900 tonnes of cobalt. Darren Hazelwood, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Through further investigation our local team were able to identify an opportunity to peg two more exploration leases in the Red Flag area. The leases appear to cover a potential trend starting at the Windarra South mine that extends northwest to the Woodline Well prospect, which is currently reporting 0.34Mt @ 1.25%Ni and held by Poseidon Nickel as part of their greater Mt Windarra area. These two leases are an exciting addition to our Red Flag project. While owned by WMC, Windarra South produced 3.17Mt @ 1.35% Ni (42,646t nickel) over the life of mine in both open pit and underground operations. Not to mention the prime location; Laverton lies just 25km to the east and the Murrin Murrin Operations 25km to the south-west, both

Also looks like they are setting themselves up as Orogenic gold deposit specialists!Makes sense considering Dr David Groves helped "invent" the term

I asked the question about the nickel project.I'd been doing some research at the weekend, looks like White cliffs had decent results and I don't think a great deal of work will be required for a JORC resource

To have raised $5mill would have diluted Panther UK massively at the time. Also would have stretched our small team massively to work effectively across all projects. This way we will have a very competent, cashed up, team on the ground in Australia while we concentrate on Canada (and maybe other opportunities?)I agree we need to know how much our "significant" holding will be.Don't know where he got it from but Nigel Somerville suggested around 30% in his article a while back.

how fast is a time ? - it differs in astrophysics and there will be Kerims day some day - as a newly defined measurement tool eg - how long does it take to ...... to us mortals a day is a day consisting of 24 hours etc...

It's certainly a conundrum. I am not sure what to ask either as the results from Merolia have further clouded the issue. And like Spangle says, I think shareholders should be told of how much of the SubCo we are going to get.

indeed I observe also a phenomena called "Kerims slicing Co mining project cubes" - one slices projects into as many small Cos as possible - preferably minority owned by a layer of foreign daughter Cos not opaque at all - Kosovo - Australia - Turkey - Cyprus sample big enough for a statistical meaning in this case

I couldn't be more uncertain what questions to ask, spud ;-) There is great potential at Merolia, and airborne geophys results due from NT surveys. However, I can't tell what value these will add to me, as a shareholder in PALM, because PALM Australia will be spun off as a separate company, and Darren has refused to give any indication of what percentage PALM shareholders are likely to own. If we were going to own Merolia 100%, I'd be really excited about its prospects, but since I've no quantitative idea as to what is planned for it, it's like watching your friend win a prize. In Canada, we've applied for permits to explore this season, but as far as I know, no boots are yet on the ground. Consequently it's reached a stage of "wait and see, and in Darren we trust", so I guess we just have to be patient until something tangible is shared with us.
