Interesting point. Looking forward to some even bigger headlines for Pantheon when the time comes. BTW, Shell’s find is the equivalent to about 3 days of the world’s consumption.

Thommie your comments are just as valid as any other Poster's! When the good (God willing) news starts to flow and the share price rockets you will get as much satisfaction as anyone else.

@ride Personally, I look at 78p to hold as the "low" over 2,3 days to judge whether we've entered a new uptrend. As I said before, I think we were in a downtrend after mid November and trade neutrally atm. Seeing some enthusiasm (=~78p level holds) before any news would make me confident of good returns upon drilling success.

I have other holdings but this is my largest by some degree, I do try to post before I buy as so many people just claim to have bought and I think if you want to maintain a degree of credibility then that's one step. I seriously believe in this company and for me the management is one of the best I've ever come across (seriously the most honest and credibly. EVER) and that's some bold statement but THEY are the reason I have invested more than I would normally in one company. my two purchases this morning was due to selling AFC 100k (not sure if that prints gone through yet)shares and the other IAG 61,690 (only so fact checking can be done) .. I am not sitting on loads of cash far from it, just a stock portfolio. Working towards that beach hut you mentioned sounds perfect, but in the mean time research research research. Back to PANR for me will be the stellar stock of this year, the management have this in the bag IMO and I personally think well get our first bit of good news whilst the share price is still below one pound but will soon surpass that and we enter the pound plus and I think the moves will be a lot more aggressive then.... £1.20/£1.40 will come quick and fast imo.

Anyway good luck all !

To all 78p ers.

I've tried to understand your logic but am still somewhat confused. Are you saying the closing share price won't be above 78p (or near as damn it)? Intraday it has been above 78p of course so I presume you mean closing price only? It would seem a few reputations being put on the line with this one, though in all honesty it's a side issue given the elephantine opportunities ahead. Interesting nonetheless. Always happy to learn either new facts or if someone is telling porky pies.

You are crazy sirmark. If I had the funds you seem to have invested here I would be sitting in front of a beach house on my own island in the sun, looking at the sea and enjoying life for 50% of the the year. How can you really risk so much money on one company? But I guess you already are doing what others are dreaming of and need some kick in your spare time. You have t take big risks to geht that rich financially. So you had to be lucky more than just one time in the past to get to that point where you are able to do hundreds of "last top ups" worth between 100 and 500k...!!! I cant imagine what your holding before was if these were last top ups. If panr plays out and you really hold that much shares and didnt only trade them it will be time for 2 or more additional islands somewhere over the world! Good luck to you. (I currently hold 2000 shares, so can be ignored... :))

I have had to submit only once before on another stock 3.9% ... but I am soooo far behind that here. If I had the money I would I know there's some on here with seriously deep pockets and must have much larger cahooners than me. But it's all relative I suppose. Have you thought about topping up or reducing since watching the webinar?

@jscowi I said the price didn't hold above 78p. It was above it on several days. And as @cezuan said, the webinar and that we are drilling right now might be and probably are new "fundamentals".
If we break above it before any results, now is the time.

The price has not held above 78p since late November. Why is that an odd statement?

Chris I can say I sleep with one eye open now lol .. yes to be fair I wasn't going to get anymore but the farm-in details that where given made me get extra as I believe we'll be classing both drills as a success and will push the farm-in back to the table with am improved offer. After going through the whole process they now know more than their competitors and they certainly will not want to lose out after doing all that work if were successful.

It's not just me seems there's a few other buyers who want in at this low rate :)

Yes, all these aspects are just guidance. The idea is that "on average" they should prevent you from entering the "upper trading range" e.g. in October/November, but if you're unlucky, you will ignore the "break out day" and miss out. That's just the statistical misery^^
