Investors might consider all that gas.

5,000,000- 6,000,000 cubic feet of gas for every barrel of oil equivalent.

When the Alkaid 2 drill went belly up the company tried to explain all that gas by saying they had drilled through a gas cap.

They can't avoid the gas (cleverly explained by Helpfull with the blisters scenario).

If the gas pipeline fails to appear that 3.3 Tcf represents a hell of a cost for re-injection.

No wonder nobody put forward finance.

They will wait to see what happens.

And whilst they do, the cash raise is king.

Imagine the current shares for loan/interest fiasco occurring at the moment, but on steroids.

Risk to your financial well being.

Those that have bought in for the rise before the Megrez-1 result have found no opportunity to top slice.

They might need to exit with their tail between their legs.

Those that swore that when the share price reached 28p that they would cut and run have missed their opportunity.

The RNS this morning is nothing but news of a backstop.

And the reason that a backstop is needed is that the gas pipeline in all likelihood will not be built.

Trumpies stint in the White Horse is only four years.

The gas pipeline would not be built until 2031-2032, assuming no court cases.

Nobody is going to lay down billions of dollars when a fresh government might raze everything the previous has done.

Just like Trump wants to do now.

Oil majors have parted Alaska. Tired of the head turning political game of ping pong. Easier targets elsewhere.
