But it will also make it easier to ‘long’ them! If there are more long than short positions traded using (less than 100%) margin on ibkr, then all else being equal, there will be more volume going long than selling short.

Absolutely rabito - the whole point of the LTPT is to hopefully underpin commerciality. It cannot be deemed commercial until it’s proved commercial, but people can take a view on whether they believe it will be commercial!

forwood - r.e. Interactive Brokers UK, the "cheap stock charge" is an ADDITIONAL margin requirement as the market cap decreases. In any case it's margin, it isn't a cost, despite the fact "Contrarian" has it the wrong way round, which I guess we should have expected.

In my opinion you are both wrong. Company have shown that pre shut in flow rates can be commercial using an assumed decline rate and CAPEX cost.Ultimate commerciality can not be fully demonstrated however until long term decline rates are determined over the extended well test period. Therefore are not necessarily dependant on removal of the sand blockage although this will obviously help.

I read your words JakNife, and rebutted them by saying I made no comment on contrarian or PANR, my message was simply addressing your “evidence̶1;. You seem not to have (wanted to?) read and considered my words?

Grateful if you could remove your statement that I have claimed that contrarian is an “enlightened market god” so as not to appear that you just make stuff up.

Perhaps reflect more, and consider what is written, not what you want to hear. It’ll stand you in good stead in life. 😉.

If it doesn’t, it won’t!

Don’t be creating a false deadline to “evidence̶1; your point though.

I can now see your burden of proof for someone being a “conspiracy posting moron”. I trust you apply that test to your own written word (or delete your written words so as not to fall foul of your own test).

More bluff and bluster JakNife. I am not claiming anything about PANR or contrarian in my post, I am simply showing your “evidence̶1; for what it is. You seem to have completely missed the point (intentionally no doubt!). Nothing you have yet written has proved your statement about contrarian - and to think it has is utterly deluded.

I do agree with one thing you wrote though, and I trust you reflect on it occasionally: “it's important that stupid people are told that they're stupid because some people are so stupid that they don't actually realise how stupid they are. Those sorts of people need to be saved from themselves!”

Your “evidence̶1; whilst all very interesting, in no way proves that contrarian is a “conspiracy posting moron” and is not related to what contrarian has posted - unless you have contacted Ibkr and received confirmation that the statement is incorrect, what you have written could be interpreted as bluff and bluster!

Perhaps, he is just more informed than you and has it from the horses mouth that his statement is correct? For you to discount that is evidence of……R30;……230;
